This restaurant has closed down! - Edit
No more need to go out of your way to look for this place, HOWEVER: Right opposite, on Moltke Strasse 1, there is lovely veg-friendly and lovingly run place called Gasthaus Pegnitztal. Open from 6pm, reservations recommended. Great vegetarian (and non-veg) food and very good service.

jumping back into time - Edit
Whole design and every detail of furniture and waitress are perfectly aligned to overall concept. Overall menu is vegan except Bailys and White Chocklate. Main course was well composed and nicely presented like haut cousine. A great selection of bear, also one local pale ale was available. As it is a small place it may be helpful to reserve a table.

Vegan time travel - Edit
We had a dinner early on Friday evening. Good that we came so early as all few tables in the restaurant were already reserved but he were able squeeze in as we needed just an hour. I had a earthly stew that wasn't all that bad but nothing special. My partner had risotto with fake meat which turned out to be delicious. The jam in the chocolate dessert tasted a bit funny. The interior of the restaurant was really cosy, like time travel to 1970's in the east of the border. Loved it!
