Delicious Vegan Options - Edit
Beautiful and classy colonial-style interior decor with a pleasant ambience. Omni eatery with a number of vegan and vegetarian options; good for dining with family and friends who have varying dietary preferences. Always grateful for F&Bs that make a sincere effort in catering to different dietary requirements, and what makes Tanglin Cookhouse’s vegan options stand out is that they aren’t the conventional boring options. I’ve been here on two occasions; each time my non-veg companions found my vegan food tasty and impressive! In particular, I appreciate that the dishes not only have premium plant-based substitutes, but also feature uniquely delicious items made in-house using natural ingredients, which isn’t so commonly found in Singapore. The Vegan Primavera Lasagna has gluten-free pasta sheets layered with veggies and mushroom ‘mince’; Creamy Vegan Pasta has sun-dried tomato and tomato cashew sauce alongside Violife mozzarella cheese; and Vegan Big Brekkie has Beyond sausage plus eggplant ‘bacon’! Admittedly a little pricey, but you get what you pay for. Hope the plant-based options can continue to be expanded in the future~ Few min walk from Orchard Boulevard MRT; they have a pet-friendly outlet near Paya Lebar MRT too. Btw the Creative Eateries free membership is worth signing up for, as their concepts (such as Bangkok Jam) have vegan options and they have perks for members!
