Excellent food and customer service

We ordered dinner online, and had to call to check if things could be made vegan. I really hate having to do this, I get super nervous usually. But they were easy to talk to, they were very accommodating and knowledgable.

The food itself? AMAZING! I got the Navratan korma and garlic naan, and they have definitely got a new regular customer.

My only note; it'd be great if they could specify which items can be made vegan, or even have an option to change certain dishes to vegan on their menu (I ordered through menulog). But even so, they were so nice over the phone, I really can't complain!

Pros: Great customer service, Korma was excellent!!!

Cons: Vegan options could be specified

Incredible vegan options - great service!!

Highly recommend ALL the vegan options. They are super flexible with their menu and always strive to make things vegan even if they aren’t in the Veg section of their menu. Service is great. Always treated well and never leave unhappy!

Pros: Lots of vegan options , Incredible service , Reasonably priced

Best curry in Melbourne, stacks of vegan options

This place is great and definitely worth the trip out from the city (it’s just a couple of minutes’ walk from Yarraville station). The perfect place to have dinner before catching a movie at the Sun Theatre cinema (and you can grab dessert across the road at Goje on the way).

The food is delicious, comes in generous portions and isn’t super expensive. We had two curries, a garlic naan, peas pulao rice, pappadums, lime chilli pickle, two wines and a coke for roughly $70.

Honestly, this is the best curry I’ve had in Melbourne (…so far).

There’s over a page of vegetarian curries and don’t be put off that vegan isn’t mentioned on the menu, there are SO many vegan options – you just have to ask. From what I recall these were all veganable: aloo baingan kashmiri, punjabi daal tadka, daal palak, daal makhani a la tandoori times, aloo gobhi, aloo palak, bombay potatoes, pumpkin lakhnawi, balti hot pot, bhindi masala, vegetable tava, vegetable kadhai, vegetable vindaloo, vegetable saag, vegetable indo-nepalese chilli garlic, vegetable madras.

Even the garlic naan can be vegan! And for the vegetarians, the tasty cheese naan looked amazing. I noticed on their sign outside that they do plenty of GF options but I didn’t look into that.

The staff were super nice, took time to explain all my options and were generally really friendly.

All in all – a great experience, great food and you should definitely go here.

Pros: Number of choices, Vegan naan, Great customer service

Cons: They don't mark options as vegan, so had to ask

So many vegan options on the menu, just ask the staff and they will help with any questions or recommendations! Staff are always friendly and welcome you back like family! They serve alcohol and you can Byo wine. Very much recommend!
