Great Indian food and friendly staff - Edit
Classic Indian cuisine with all the starters and curries you'd expect - many vegan options. The staff are knowledgable of allergens like vegan and gluten free and had no problem catering around them. In particular, we were the only people in the place at the time we went and had a really nice chat with the waiter! The location is also nice and far from central Arrecife, so it wasn't busy at all.

A long wait for average food - Edit
I went here on New Years Eve with two others. When assigning us a seat, the waiter said the order could take up to 40 mins. Eventually we got the food after over two hours of waiting, just minutes before midnight.
Read moreThere were other people in the restaurant, but it was not packed. They were also waiting on their food for too long. Later on, I read many reviews with the same complaint.
The waiters were annoyed, running around. And later on the chef started complaining and telling us not to order any dessert or coffee because he wanted to go home.
The food was alright, but VERY spicy. One dish with two pepper icons was way spicier than the other dish with two pepper icons. So be careful, or you will not get to finish your plate.
Pros: Typical Indian food, The view from the terrace is nice

Your pretty standard Indian affair - Edit
Thankfully one of the few restaurants open on a holiday. We tried the chana masala, the mixed vegetable curry, and the dal makhani with pilau rice and everything was very tasty!
