Great food and attentive staff - Edit
The choice of food for vegetarians is excellent and the staff were very attentive about checking the different food stuffs I include in my vegetarian diet (egg, dairy etc.) and they were able to adjust things accordingly. I had a lunch set with Chana Masala and Nan and all was beautiful. I also appreciated the handsome amount of salad on the side. I also added a mango lassi to my lunch menu and it was delicious - nice, thick and refreshing. Overall, a nice little gem in Higashihiroshima. Will be back when visiting the area again. Special vegetarian options available throughout the menu and many curries can be made vegetarian.

Vegetarian / Vegan options aren’t entirely clear on the menu and will need input from the staff. I thought most Indian curries were cooked in ghee so am surprised this has made it onto Happy Cow. Good food, weird atmosphere, be weary.

Authentic Indian in Hiroshima ! - Edit
It's like find a gem in the dessert when finding a nice vegetarian restaurant in the country side of Japan and this place was truly a gem!!! Lots of Vege/vegan professors and students are coming from nearby prestigious Hiroshima University so the chefs understands vege needs. Ask for a Ghee-free chapati bread if you are a vegan. Only vegetarian friendly restaurant in that area so please go!! Approx. 10 min walk toward the city hall from JR Higashihiroshima station.
