Super!

Ask for the chili sauce if you like spicy food. Highly recommend but don’t underestimate it - some drops are sufficient :)
We were all happy, enough vegan options to choose from.
Make reservation, we were just very lucky to get a table on a Saturday evening.
In the bar below the same food from the restaurant is served.

Delicous vegan curries

I tried 2 vegan curries from Tamu Sana at the Veganmania in Graz where they had a food truck and it was delicious! I tried Ndengu and Mafe and both were very tasty. The price was also fair.

Excellent food

Very special restaurant with dishes you won't find anywhere else in Linz.

Tip: Ask for vegan dips for the sambusas since one of them might not be vegan.

Heart-warming food

Tamu Sana is one of those restaurants that you could go to all the time and you won't get bored. For lunch they always have a vegan option like lentil-curry, beans and spinach in a tomatosauce and on the side you get either rice or couscous and a soup or a salad. And that salad damn, best dressing ever, you can't get enough of it.

For dinner it's a great place to eat with friends because you can order a big platter of various dishes that you then can all share and be full and happy afterwards. They have about 5 vegan main dishes and also starters which are Sambusas with potato and lentil fillings. They even have vegan dessert!!

The vibe is super chill and it's really hidden, which is super nice to sit outside in the summer and the people working there are also really sweet. Definitely worth it, such a great time

Pros: Multiple vegan dishes, You are definitely full afterwards, Super chill vibe

different from other local restaurants

Every dish contained ingredients that were uncommon and new for me. The menu extensively explains the ones that are less well known in the west. Delicious combinations, rich use of herbs, but not spicy, nor very salty. If you want to try something different, I highly recommend this. The price quantity ratio could be better, but the quality is sublime.

Pros: different half the menu is vegetarian

Cons: not cheap for the portion sizes you get

Good service and good food

Vegetarian and vegan menu; staff know about veganism and tells you what appetizers and dips are vegan too. Friendly staff, food was good and the menu also offers explanations for foods you might not know. All in all I would recommend it!:)

Pros: Vegetarian and Vegan Menu, Staff informs what appetizers are vegan

AMAZING

Very very nice stuff. When you eat dinner there you have several vegan options. The sambusas as well as the salad are just incredible. They also serve a veggie soup which is amazing as well. I also recommend their couscous.
It's probably the best African restaurant in Austria.

Well located in urfahr/linz. Not far away from the hauptplatz of linz. A few minutes to walk from downtown.
Big variety of nice, fresh and well prepared vegan dishes!!! Sorry, but I forgot the names of them!

Delicious!

African restaurant with the lovely owner Monique, very friendly staff and delicious food!

It's good to make a reservation and to prepare them for vegan visitors to make sure there is plenty of vegan choice.

The sambusas are awesome and the matoke-eintopf simply ingenious!

Pros: very vegan friendly, nice vibe, good value

Cons: not exclusively vegan
