A little oasis in Naha for Vegan dinner - Edit
The Okinawan peanut tofu, Okinawan seaweed tempura, Okinawan laksa, Ma Jiang Mian, and sea grapes were all okay.

Best meal of my life - Edit
Almost 3 years later, I still think about this place all the time. The owner is so sweet and kind. Food takes a bit to prepare since he runs the business himself. But every dish was fine dining quality, insanely tasty, and with impeccable presentation. The owner was friendly and kind and even played/sang us a few songs. My non-vegan friends came here with me twice because of how delicious it was. This restaurant was my favorite part of my visit to Japan, and I look back on the time I had there so fondly.

Very tasty food; great drinks and good service. Very small restaurant but we walked in without a line. We were pleased with the peanut tofu and veggie tempura and the veggie ramen. Highly recommend this place.

Fave place in Naha - Edit
I went there two times because I wanted to try so many things—if I had time, I would have definitely visited a third time!
Read moreArrive earlier that the closing time, I would suggest at least one hour earlier, just to be sure to get served: both times I had to queue to be seated (nothing new in Japan, but it never happened to me in other places in Okinawa)

Incredible - Edit
This place was the highlight of our Okinawa food journey. We arrived late but they served us quickly. The portions are on the small side but the flavours are so good that you will want to try lots of things. We got to try a lot of local dishes here. Seaweed salad, peanut tofu and tofuyo (It’s like a cheesy miso) are must try’s. My sake was served in a beautiful Riedel wineglass which was a nice surprise! We tried to visit the next night but there was a line and they were closing at 9pm which seems to be the standard closing time now.

Nice menu with local dishes and ones from other Asian countries.

The shop is pretty small so it's probably better to make a reservation when coming here, especially is you plan on coming with a bigger group.

Absolutely fantastic restaurant - Edit
Everything we ordered was delightful, especially the algae and the Green Curry noodles, the tempura tofu is also to fall for, you cannot order badly here. Dessert was also great and to top it all, the staff is great and happy 😁

the best laksa I had ! - Edit
Laksa curry makes this place worth visiting! The starters are nice, the service is also very friendly (only two guys running restaurant - wow! respect). the portions are quite small, however the prices are also low so it is kind of compensating. however it would be nice to add option of regular and large main dish for instance.

Great place - Edit
Our first night in Naha surrounded by tacky souvenir shops and young tourists didn’t give us much hope for our first restaurant.

Delicious. You need to go. - Edit
So good and authentic vegan Okinawa food! Got the Okinawa soba noodle soup and it was 10/10. Reasonably priced too at 1100 yen.

Yummy, but smallish portions - Edit
Tasty food (had the Seaweed tempura, the Okinawa soba soup noodles and the brown sugar). The soup broth had a quite savoury flavour (which I liked a lot, but might be not for you if you don't like salty food).
Read moreThe portions could have been bigger in my opinion, and I already asked for a larg(er) portion for the soba, that's why 4 stars only.
Also, one guy managed the whole place alone when I was there. I was impressed with how he handled everything, but obviously not as swift as with more staff, so better don't be in a hurry when eating here.
