This is such a little gem in Leiria! I really like the calm and pleasant atmosphere and the fact that menu varies daily. I would say that most dishes are quite different from the ones you would typically find.
Read moreMy parents and I went here for lunch and we had a miso soup, 2 roasted pumpkin risottos topped with vegan parmesan cheese, slice of quiche with quinoa, a slice of sweet potato and chocolate brownie and another slice of banana pie. Everything was delicious.
We have been to this restaurant several times already and I am sure we will go back!

Tamari is a nice place in Leiria, with very tasty food and a majority of fully vegan options. Although it is not the most amazing food you will eat, it has very good and healthy comfort food.

More of a self-service than a buffet. You pay for each plate (there are different sizes). I found it to be a bit expensive, comparing to other similar restaurants.
Read moreAll the food was tasty (except maybe the [not] "falafel"). Almost everything was vegan, with even a few dessert options. There was almost no labeling in what was vegan though, and the staff often had to check with the kitchen. I would suggest some small signs to indicate which is vegan or not, and just put them near the food when you serve it each day.😄would make everything much clearer.
The staff was really lovely!

Very cute. Friendly staff. Confortable. Almost everything was vegan. Affordable and tasty food. Definitely a good choice. It accepts ATM. And best of all... the staff actually know what vegan means. Returning here on business trips.

Always a wonderful variety of hot & cold dishes, salads, desserts. Buffet style, but you choose the size of plate you want and pay accordingly, desserts/coffee are extra. Can get very busy on certain days, you may have to wait for a table but I think it is good to see such a great place being so busy!

This place is my food dream come true. I always wanted to go to a place where i could eat various, delicious vegan foods in a self-service manner where you can try a bit of everything!

Quite simply the best vegetarian food we've eaten in Portugal. Even Porto and Lisbon don't compare!! A properly thought out buffet with a huge variety of dishes (you can chose a small plate visit to the buffet, a soup & large plate buffet or a 'visit as many times as you want' option). Cheap and insanely good cooking. You don't get fobbed off with cheap salads or dodgy, stodgy rice, either. This must be why it's so popular- we had to wait for a table for two for Saturday lunch. A real find in meat obsessed Portugal...

Este foi o comentário do meu filho que come vegetariano desde in útero. Como vegetarianos também temos poucas opções mas de todas as que fomos o Tamari é o melhor. Devido ao sistema de self service permite mais escolha e é tudo muito bom e tem bom serviço.

Really tasty self-serve cafe. because its self-serve you can try a bit of everything, all the food was really good. The staff are friendly and helpful and the cafe is spotless. They have plenty of vegan choices and I will definetly be going back here.

Buffet à 99.99% végane avec beaucoup de choix (il y avait juste des petits cakes au fromage qui ne l'étaient pas...). Prix attractif : pour 10€ on mange à volonté ! Produits frais et faits maison. Les 2 gérantes très disponibles et serviables, accueil au top ! Je recommande fortement !
