We pushed off trying this place since they only have one vegan tamale (refried black bean) but this was a mistake!!! These were SO Good! With a side of chips, guacamole and the provided sauces, this was an amazing vegan meal! A vegan jalapeño and cheese would be to die for 🥹

Fresh tamales - Edit
Tamale Box is a small shop with fresh tamales made by a local family. I was introduced to them when they were selling their tamales at farmers markets. This is their first brick and mortar location, located in Kendall Yards. They have a small menu, but it includes several vegan items, like their delicious black bean tamales, beans and rice, and chips with homemade salsa or guacamole.
