Drink n Dine

Their a'la carte dishes are a little pricey, as are their drinks (18 K for a can of Tiger), but if you arrive before 6:00 pm (or even 7:00 pm), you can sup from the 'com chay' buffet for 20 K. The owners even allowed us to serve ourselves on the night we dined in.

Nice lively place in the town centre

We found this restaurant by "mistake", as we got on a taxi and asked the taxi driver to take us to another vegetarian restaurant, which he didn't know, so he took us to this one instead, which turned out to be a very nice place.

The restaurant is quite large, with lots of tables and quite popular with the locals. The waiter came to speak with us very quickly and we were also served very quickly.

The menu was in Vietnamese and although I can speak a little, I could not understand everything so I ended up 'blind ordering', which turned out to be very tasty.

There is an area by the door which looks like a salad buffet, where you can choose what you want and they put it in a doggy bag to take away, if you do not want to eat it there.

The restaurant is Buddhist and is decorated with Buddhist pictures. The toilets were cleaner than the average restaurant toilets in Vietnam but there was no paper to dry your hands.

We drank beers with our meal. I assume this is why this restaurant has been tagged as Vegan-friendly and not 100% Vegan, as I could not spot a single dish in the menu that was not Vegan (although I might be wrong).

The prices are quite high compared to other 'basic' Vegetarian restaurants in Vietnam, being between 25,000 and 80,000 VND, but the quality is good.

Pros: Atmosphere, Good food, Quick service

Cons: Moderate prices
