Very good

Nice restaurant (pretty far located) with a small English menu. It’s really cheap and they have the main dishes available.
The outdoor seating is nice and they play nice slow Asian music in the background!
Their portions are really good, youll definitely be satisfied, and it’s delicious as well. Also they have quite some mock meat for no additional charge which is nice!

Pros: Nice portions, Good price for all the mock meat, Outdoor seating

Cons: Quite far, Green leaf stuff tasted weird , Lots of mosquitos

Okay if you’re in the area

Out of the way from the ancient town in a residential neighbourhood, but we were staying close by so it was convenient.
I had “com dia”, the mixed plate of the day which was huge and all pretty tasty. Especially the tofu.
My bf had “bun” rice noodles and wasn’t that impressed, it was a bit plain and bland.
The restaurant was empty but the staff were not that welcoming, and when we asked to order drinks the lady didn’t understand us and walked off so we didn’t bother.

Pros: com dia was big portion and tasty, cheap dishes - 25k each

Cons: bun soup was not great, staff a little unhelpful

Best Vegan Mi Quang in Hoi An

So far, after eating in more than 10 different places in Hoi An, I can say that this place serves pretty decent Mi Quang noodle. The broth is very rich in flavor, right combination of veggies, crashed peanuts, crispy ram(fried spring-roll)and some skillfully prepared fake meats won't leave any one indifferent. Apart from that, the prices are pretty cheap, but slowly rising every year.
P.S. Just be careful with herbs, that they serve aside with main dish. It contains one stinky leaf, aka fish leaf, which in my humble opinion, you definitely want to omit. Also, the place is not owned by vegans, that's why I can't give them 5 stars(It's co-owened with Basil homestay, which serves non-vegan dishes, don't know if they cook in the same kitchen or not...)

Pros: Amazing Mi Quang noodle, Reasonable Prices

Cons: Co-owned by non-vegan place, Fish leaf(vegan, but disgusting!!!)

Pretty good

This is a cheap place to eat. Pretty tasty food.
There are defiantly more places in Hoi An to enjoy a tasty and cheap meal. I wouldn’t go out of my way to go here but if you are in the area it’s fine!!

Pros: Tasty, Cheap

Terrible experience!

This was the closest restaurant to our villa so we went here. We found a small insect in our food so we asked the lady running the place about it. She saw the insect, picked it out of the food and ate it right in front of our eyes! So much for vegan!

We left immediately from the place. Clearly, an experience we wouldn't recommend!

Big portions, cheap prices

I loved the rice and veggies plate (ratio was surprisingly more veggies than rice!!) Nice greens too, bok choy, morning glory, sweet potato leaves, yum! The food is a bit oily but for the price (25000) and speed of service you really can't complain! Not worth it to drive to but if you are hungry and in the neighbourhood do check it out

Cheap and good

For the price I simply can't fault this place. There is a page of vegan food with most at 20k dong. Try the portion.

Pros: Cheap as chips, Page of vegan food

Cons: A bit out of the way

Local spot with good pho

I came here with the host of my homestay. She found out that I was vegan and was eager to take me here because it is owned by her sister. We came for breakfast early one morning and I had a large bowl of pho. It was really good. The broth was delicately balanced with a nice mix of herbal notes. The noodles took on the flavor well, and they were complemented nicely by two types of mock meat: veggie ham and veggie fish cake (?).

I unfortunately didn’t get a chance to see what’s else they had on the menu, since my homestay host ordered for me. But I highly recommend coming here and finding out for yourself. It’s a little bit out of the way, but the owner is very kind and the pho is very good.
