I was very hungry. It was very tasty. - Edit
I had set 2 meal for 1.
Read morePossible the veg was frozen but giving 5 stars for (what I think was) the papaya salad. So good.
Classic vietnamese tofu and tomato - have eaten more of this in the last month than I like to think about, but this was one of the better ones.

Nice Vegan Spot - Edit
Lovely family run vegan spot in the heart of Tam Coc, just by the boat tour area.
Read moreThey have a nice courtyard seating area. Friendly staff too.
The overnight oats with fruit was so fresh and lovely! Tofu dish was also really nice. The only thing we didn’t enjoy as much was the fresh spring rolls, as the rice paper seemed a bit thicker than others we’ve tried in Vietnam.
Not much to complain on though. A really great option for vegans staying in Tam Coc.

Nice food and a warm welcome - Edit
We came here for an early lunch and were served throughout by one of the younger members of the family, which was very sweet. The courtyard where we ate was gorgeous, though beware of the bang caused by mangoes falling on the roof!
Read moreWe both had the pho and a portion of spring rolls. The pho had a healthy mushroom flavour and came with plenty of tofu, and the spring rolls had a rich yet fresh flavour.
Pros: Nice courtyard to eat in, Fresh and tasty food

Lots of options! - Edit
Had the fresh spring rolls, fried lotus, and tofu with tomatoes and that was all delicious - even my omni friend admitted it was one of the best meals she’s had in Vietnam. Had the single bao bun as well with mushrooms and noodles which left me a little disappointed because the noodles were a little undercooked.

Too expensive imo. The fruit dessert was disappointing . Very friendly people however. Fried rice was amazing.

Good food, noisy construction nearby - Edit
Everything we tried was good but mild and could be a bit more flavorful. The family who runs it is kind. The real bummer is that there’s currently some loud construction happening across the way that makes the dining experience a bit loud. We ended up sitting in a more interior space which was an improvement though still noisy. Pho, summer rolls, and papaya salad were good and portions were ample. Would come back if we were back in the area…just hoping for a more peaceful dining experience.

Great food - Edit
We went here quite a few times during our short stay. They have great food at good prices. The tofu and ginger was excellent and the rest were really good except for the bun which was extremely dry (noodles & mushroom filling). They always made a little mistake each time (forgetting things, giving us the wrong food). They didn’t have all menu items (particularly the desserts were they only had one of the many options). It’s a small family run place.

Another good, but not Perfect place - Edit
I wasn’t super happy with the food in this town. Here I ordered the spring rolls. Don’t Order them
Read moreThey’re super Oily
I used around 8 tissues to get rid of it
They basically tasted like soaked oil- why can’t you leave them before putting on the plate or use higher temperature for frying!
The Ginger Tofu on the other hand was Perfect. Small plates though!
Pros: Vegan, Tofu Ginger
Cons: Spring Rolls! Oily , Small sizes , Value for price

Finally healthy food! - Edit
We were struggling in Vietnam to find something non-fried, our bodies were starving for a fresh vegetable and we finally found it in Ngo Dong veggie restaurant ❤️ The food was so great we decided to stay whole week in Tam Coc just to heal our bodies from the junk food. They offer lots of healthy dishes and the plate is really full. Highly recommend!

Scrummy! - Edit
Very yummy food, wide selection available and reasonably priced for the area. Away from the main street so quieter which is super nice to get away from the noise (but still very central). My friend has a nut allergy and they were able to accommodate this no problem. Would definitely recommend :)
