Take off shoes before entering - Edit
I was gutted we couldn't try the food here as I have read some incredible reviews by others. We had a women at the shop shouting at us to take our shoes off. We were a bit put off and didn't feel comfortable walking bare foot so left the place.

Heerlijk! - Edit

Nice place to eat before a train ride - Edit
We had a very nice hotpot before embarking on a long train ride. A lot of ingredients came with the hotpot and it was enough to fill us up. The coconut flower drink was shockingly good. The owner let us store our luggage in a safe area on the ground floor. There was also a quiet and gentle cat that kept us company. The only thing that wasn’t too nice was that there were a lot of bird cages on the alleyway to the restaurant. They might not belong to the restaurant, but a bit depressing to see caged birds.

Amazing hotpot - Edit
Went here thinking it would be a buffet, but turns out it’s not a buffet anymore. It was very quiet when we went. They have quite a big à la carte menu, as we wanted to eat quite a lot, we opted for the Crab soup hotpot. It was very delicious, a huge portion (like hotpot should be) and everything tasted good.
Read moreService was good.
The restaurant is upstairs and there is a shop downstairs, we thought we were at the wrong place at first.
We could leave our luggage downstairs as we were having dinner, that was very nice.
Their coconut blossom flower drink was super amazing I’ve never tasted anything like it and I want to drink it again!!

We had the Thai hot pot for 250.000 dong for 2 persons. It was super delicious!! Also, you must try the cashew-yogurt, it is sent from heaven!! The owners are running around helping everyone with a smile. Really loved this place.

Food For All - Edit
This is a wonderful restaurant.
Read moreThe sign is on the top of the lane and nearby shop owners point the way to find the restaurant upstairs.
There is a menu as well as a daily buffet table. The menu is extensive and the food we had really fresh and tasty.
The buffet is payment by donation into a box in the shop as you leave.
All the food was varied with white or brown rice, fried plantain, pickled vegetables, sweet and sour tofu, stir fried vegetables and fresh soup of greens.
The best bun loc I’ve had, yummy crisp spring rolls with mushrooms and other tasty vegetables.
One of the staff was happy to explain anything and his English language was good, so it really helped.
I’d eat there any time.

Buffet and menu available - Edit
Very tasty buffet of approx 12 items plus white and black rice. Juice, soy milk, and brown rice tea also available. Menu available also with quite a number of made to order dishes. When I was there a group of about 8 young women had ordered from the menu some noodle dishes not available on the buffet. Very reasonably priced.

Bestes Essen in Hanoi - Edit
Definitiv unser Highligt in Hanoi.

Este restaurante tiene opción de buffet, de hot pots y de comida a la carta. La comida es local veganizada, muy interesante, y tiene mucha vibra de local budista vegetariano.

Good food, cheap and friendly staff. - Edit
I got there a bit before 12 on a Monday. Two people together already I. Three other tables were set up for for groups I assume had booked - looked like they were all on the hotpots.other locals came in as I ate so she was obviously busy. I had some of the buffet and. Two,plates of food as well and paid 100,000 dong for it so it was cheap, tast and fresh. Recommended and obviously a busy place. I was the only Westerner in.

It’s ok. Not special but cheap - Edit
Went here on a Tuesday during lunch time. Offering buffet for 40k. Fully vegan
Read moreBuffet didn’t look appealing and not much to choose from: I think 4 dishes only plus rice and most already gone (before 1pm)
I opted for the bun cha with noodles, herbs and soup with nuggets
The nuggets was just beef veganized not nuggets. I asked for no cilantro but instead got only cilantro as herbs haha
They changed it then after explaining I want anything else but no cilantro.
Taste was too sweet for a soup and oily
Wouldn’t return
Very friendly though and it was 45k for the dish. Mostly locals eating here

Pros: Feels like a locals place , Cheap, buffet for 40k Tuesday , Vegan

The place is amazing!
Read moreSuch an original food! All dishes sounded tasty! I've never seen any dishes like they have in Vietnam.
I had tofu with mushrooms wraps - they are served w/o rice.
And as far as I understood, they do not have any dish with rice, only noodles.
But the lady was so sweet and they made rice for me!
