Tasty vegan food in a unique environment - Edit
So many good options on the menu, and you get to see steam trains at the same time😄The breakfast set us up perfectly for the train ride and then a long walk at the end of the line (already given my mushrooms to my partner by the time I took the photo!)

Lovely cozy place for lunch - Edit
The King’s Cafe at Wharf station is a cafe like no other. Sit at a platform table and enjoy an oat latte with a toasted tea cake, or munch on a bowl of chunky chips while the beautiful steam trains arrive and depart.
Read moreStopping for lunch? There’s jacket potato with beans and vegan cheese, a delicious vegan burger with chips, and sandwiches. If you’re up with the lark you’ll find a vegan breakfast awaits you, along with a great selection of cold drinks including my personal favourite ginger beer. Sundays you can find a very nice roast, perfect on a Winter’s day.
The staff are pleasant if you take the time to chat and the platform crew are always willing to talk about the wonderful steam trains passing through.
More vegan cakes would be hugely appreciated, and perhaps a change to the mains offered every 6 months or so, for us frequent callers. Still, I visit here very often with family for the fab oat lattes and a side of steam.

So much to choo choose from! - Edit
We were blown away by the fantastic vegan options available here. We have tried the delicious nut roast, the fried breakfast and a selection of sweet treats. The staff are lovely and the prices are reasonable. What a gem!
