Disappointed lunch

Only one vegan option on the lunch menu, falafel burger, but after we ordered we were told "the chef hasn't had the chance to make any burgers up" with no offer that if we didn't mind waiting they could make them. So our lunch was chips and onion rings. The onion rings were really nice and it's a lovely looking pub but disappointed that there was only one meal and it wasn't available

Great pub with awesome falafel burger

We were really well looked after by the owners.
We stayed overnight and had supper falafel burgers in the evening (genuinely the best I've had)
They have vegan beers, and took our orders in the morning for a lovely breakfast.
They have a pizza oven in the garden and are expanding to include bunkhouses for cyclists doing the DEVON coast2coast cycle route (it is almost exactly halfway)
Would definitely recommend.
