Lovely place

Such a nice find, charity run by friendly volunteers, they didn't have any food prepared but I've been invited to sit for a cut of tea and biscuits which was not charged for (I did leave a coin) it might be different when food is avaliable. These is an opening time with various things happening which I'm going to post here.

Pros: Volunteer run, Friendly, Vegan options

Great community cafe.

Talking Tree is a community cafe promoting all things green - reducing, reusing, recycling, gardening, biodiversity, litter picking, repairing things, music, art & craftivisim. It's run mainly by volunteers and the mostly vegan meals are made from surplus food that would otherwise have gone to landfill. There's always a fab selection of homemade vegan and GF cakes too! Open Tues - Sat 10am - 4pm.

Amazing vegan food from rescued food

This is a surprising find, a little community cafe serving tasty vegan food cheaply.

Vegan soups, curries / stews and cakes.

Also serve vegetarian cakes and offer cow's milk for a price increment, oat milk is free.

Occasionally open in the evening for events. Recently for a talk by Dr Gemma Newman, the plant powered doctor.

Pros: Very cheap, Really tasty food, Friendly atmosphere

Cons: Not 100% vegan - vegetarian cakes, dairy milk
