Offers big breakfast meals plus hearty soups and bakes breads and pastries including a few vegan ones. Marks the veg choices. Try the vegan coconut curry pasty. Sandwiches and salads can be requested vegan. Open Mon-Sun 7:00am-8:00pm.

One vegan option?

After seeing on the website that vegan options were available I asked about it and they couldn't find there veg menu but the waitress walked me through what could be make vegan but it only ended up being the home fries which ended up being pretty good. Just make sure to specify no cheese and no sour cream.

Pros: Guacamole and potatoes were great, fast service

Cons: Only one vegan option

Friendly, welcoming atmosphere

I stayed at The Roadhouse and ate breakfast in the morning. The staff were very aware of vegan options, which were few, but delicious. We ordered the "Hot Mess" home fries with vegan black bean chili, salsa, jalapeños, and guacamole, and split the plate for two very satisfied breakfasters. The dining area is family-style seating, and is very comfortable for chatting with others or keeping to yourself. The hostel-style accommodations were very comfortable. We slept in a private room that was so cozy, warm and comfy (exceptional for Alaska in March). The staff were so friendly, personable and accommodating. We would love to return to The Roadhouse for lodging and vegan breakfast. The coffee was very good. For lunch there is the vegan chili and salad, while breakfast also has oatmeal and fruit that is vegan. There seemed to be more options for vegetarians such as quiche, pasties and lasagna, but I didn't quite pay attention to the veg options that weren't vegan.
