I’ve eaten here at least 5 times and I’m not that impressed. Their bbq is really good but everything else falls quite flat. Not really anything specialty yet not bad either It’s simply bland if I’m being honest. I previously thought unsuccessfully my first visit had to do with burritos not being my cup of tea and it could very well be something amazing for someone else. However, unfortunately the truth is the food is not more than fair. If your going: Bare in mind. This restaurant is located in an food hall, thus, many people circulate the area during lunch. Also, to fit as many restaurants as possible in the food hall the size of each individual restaurants are restricted making Taku Take cramped.

I would give Taku Take five stars if it weren’t for the bad service. They guy who worked the shift was awful; inattentive and nonchalant. I wonder how he got the job in the first place. The food was amazing though and I love the concept.

Very good fusion food in a foodcourt. Its right at the entrance. We had a burger and curry with rice. They have 4 different sauses you can ad on your on own when the food have arrived.

This place inside the bustling Hötorget food hall is good for quick meals. I chose the Kimchi Udon noodles, which were very nice.
Read moreIt's a bit noisy due to the open food hall and the seating is not the kind where you want to sit around for long. I could easily see myself grapping some of the food to go next time.

As Sweden is not familiar for large portions I was reluctant to try it out but I was surprised as the bowl was really big and tasty. Very fresh products with great seasoning.

I'm a fan of tempeh and ordered Tempeh Katsu Bowl. The tempeh had good crisp and taste and contrast well to the kimchi, rice and other vegetables. Small place in a busy shopping mall. A bit pricey for fast food, but expected in plain centre of Stockholm.

Strongly recommend the panko fried pea tempeh. Like the idea that you can pick and mix and choose between bowl, bun, salad and taco to go with your preferred filling (I went for the jackfruit and really liked it).

Tasty food, but since there's so much food per bun, it's tricky to eat without ending up with food everywhere. Guessing the buns aren't the expensive part, they could just add more, with less fillings per bun.

Healthy bowls of joy! - Edit
We popped into Taku-Taku for lunch, after a boat trip back from Djurgården. This was the first of three visits, and we each had the crunchy avocado “caezar” salad, which was delicious! Loads of healthy and tasty ingredients, including smoked tofu, quinoa, chickpeas and, of course, lots of avocado! We were so impressed that we resolved to visit at least once more to try the hot dishes.
Read moreSecond visit, we had the red, fluffy tofu curry and the tempeh katsu, which included tempeh, deep-fried in panko breadcrumbs - both were fab, but the red curry was a winner.
On our last day, we went back for the caezar salad - a comfortably filling, pre-flight dinner.
All food is freshly prepared, the people working here are lovely, you can get water on tap or buy drinks, including some beer (I think this is only at certain times); card payments only (like most of Stockholm).
I’d definitely recommend a visit (or three)!
