I wished for a "Land & Monkeys" close to my home... - Edit
So, after visiting Paris a few months back and having a blissful time at Land & Monkeys, I thought to myself...wouldn't it be great if the franchise spread to London, Ideally a short travel from my home.
Read moreInstead, some lovely people opened a Vegan Viennoiserie cafe that ticks all the boxes in all the right ways...I am content that the laws of attraction work, at least, when it comes to pastries! (as is usual wishes get granted in ways you don't expect).
I shared a small survey of delightful pastries filled with various creamy things with my wife, and each one delighted in a different way. I will be back soon and hope to make it a meeting point for chats with friends.

Lovely vegan pastries - Edit
A cute bakery with space to sit and enjoy a croissant and hot choc. Fully vegan. I tried the almond choc croissant, the cinnamon bun, fruit custard pastry, lemon cruffin and a maritozzo (not all at once...)

When I go again I'll have the fruit custard one again as a priority before having another croissant!
Go! You'll love it
The staff were friendly and helpful

Take a Bite and Smile - Edit
I was thrilled to try this new location after having such a fantastic experience with the owner and pastries at her previous establishment. However, this time, the pistachio maritozzo was surprisingly bland. The pistachio flavor was barely noticeable, and while I appreciated the lower sugar content, it was a letdown.
Read moreThe pain au chocolat was equally disappointing. It felt more like bread than a pastry — I didn’t finished it, which is rare for me since I never leave a chocolate croissant behind.
On a positive note, the Nutella pastry was quite delicious, though it was a bit sweet.
To add to the disappointment, the employees were unfriendly and lacked the warmth and hospitality I had experienced at the owner’s previous location. It’s possible that this is just a growing pains phase, so I probably will wait to try them again until they’ve settled down.

Good potential, but needs less sugar - Edit
I’m so glad a place with vegan pastries has opened. I really enjoyed the maritozzo bun, it’s incredibly high in calories and not exactly healthy, but it's delicious. I loved that the cream wasn't overly sweet, while the chocolate filling was
Read moreI also tried the cream and berry bun, but I didn't like it. The only thing I could taste was sugar. They added jam inside the fresh raspberries, which I think is a bad move - adding sugar to fresh berries that are supposed to be tart just ruins it
As for the ice cream, I actually had to throw it away. I don't know how much sugar was in there, but it was awful. I often find that sweet pastries are made cloyingly sweet, to the point where you can't taste anything but sugar. Honestly, I think it would be perfect if they cut the sugar content in their baked goods by about 60%
Thanks anyway! If I'm in the area again, I might try something else and update my review. By the way, the staff is super friendly

YES YES YES - Edit
I am so happy there is finally a cafè that is open on weekdays as I was usually missing the market stall on the weekends. Pastries are amazing as usual!! I had the berries pastry DELICIOUS. Also had the apricot jam pastry delicious as well. Matcha was really nice too. It is worth going out of your way for this one. Staff was lovely!

Delicious Italian delights! - Edit
Scrumptious vegan Italian pastries and delights here like cannolis, maritosso, tiramisu, gelato and different croissants and cruffins as well. They have some gluten free options too and are adding more if that's your thing. They also do coffees, iced drinks and bottled smoothies. It's a cute place with indoor and outdoor seating. Thank goodness for a vegan bakery in London!
