Buddhist vegan restaurant located at Takao-san Yakuo-in Temple on Mount Takao. Very popular during the cherry blossoms and autumn leaves period. From beginning of December until beginning of February reservation is not accepted. In other times, reservation preferred. Open Mon-Sun 11:00am-2:00pm.

Beautiful food! - Edit
Did a walk-in here for lunch - they don't take same day reservations. There's only one choice, but it was so lovely. A large, varied lunch with a bunch of different vegetables, flavors, textures. Soup, tempura, soba, pickles, brown rice, etc. All vegan, which is explained (in Japanese) on a menu paper they give you (no meat, fish, eggs, dairy, also no onions or garlic in the veg Buddhist tradition).
Pros: delicious, beautiful
