Couldnt understand that I wanted no dairy so got served a non-vegan dish and they couldn't understand the problem to correct it.

Pros: On 39th

We had a delightful meal on Valentine Day at Taj Palace. I was concerned about vegan options but the owner was very accommodating and said they would be able to substitute coconut milk for dairy and cream. We enjoyed our meal immensely and will definitely be back in the future. The staff was courteous and kind and worked very hard to serve those enjoying the night out on this busy holiday evening.

Pros: Very flavorful food, very good portions, courteous, kind staff

Cons: can't think of any

Great little spot near KU Med - Edit

We love coming here when in the area. There are other vegan friendly spots on the street (Blue Koi, MudPie Bakery, etc)... so it's nice to be able to stop in for dessert after so many great spicy flavors at Taj.

Lots of options for vegans (not unusual), but the staff/owners are extremely friendly and very well versed on vegan and their menu. They have vegan friendly rice and bread (unusual in KC... looking at you Swagat), and the price is very low for all of their food. Great place.

Pros: Very good indian food, Extremely friendly staff, Very well trained on vegan

Cons: None, we like it a lot.
