Very mid - Edit

I was disappointed to find out that "vegan options" basically just means vegetarian options, but they leave out the animal products. This made my Dal Tarka just Dal, when they could have easily swapped the ghee with oil 😓

Pros: Super friendly service

Cons: No efford put into vegan options , Place is drafty and unkomfortabel , Food was fine, but not exciting

Must visit! - Edit

As one of the very few vegan/veg options in town, Taj Mahal's selection is wider and very well executed. The food is pretty much like what we can expect back in India, and the owner takes care of almost all concerns, either food- or comfort-wise. E.g. I always get green chillies and upon request, the food can be made spicier. The staff are very kind!

I have been there a few times and shall do so on many more occasions ahead 😊

Vegan friendly & delicious - Edit

I had the okra masala which was very delicious. There is one section in the menu featuring tofu dishes and one that is featuring vegan & vegetarian dishes (though tofu was sold out that day). All vegetarian dishes can be ordered vegan. The terrace is very nice!
