excellent flavors, fast, and friendly with nice atmosphere too! - Edit
They were very friendly as I arrived and showed me how the vast majority of the daily buffet is vegan and there's nice Indian music and windows for a lovely setting. The price is very reasonable and the flavors are excellent. I have had better Indian in other places so 4 not 5 stars, of course it's usually at a higher price point. All in all this is a special little spot.

Great place!! - Edit
Can't say a bad thing about this place. Their food is delicious every time and their service is on point. I will continue to head back to this place whenever I crave Indian cuisine.
Pros: great atmosphere, accommodating to special requests

Nice vegan options, tasty and generous food - Edit
I got take-out while I was in town. They were very courteous, it was a ton of food, and tasty.

If you're vegan and GF, stay away! - Edit
We ordered all our food off the vegan menu, including some GF food. We were served food that was neither GF nor vegan. Long story short, the server knew she made the mistake, yet didn't tell us until we asked her. She ignored us for a long time, then sent the manager over. He told us they made a mistake (obviously), and acted like he was doing us a favor by removing the non-vegan item they served us and the vegan version of it that we never received from the bill. Then he kept telling us the food got switched and mistakes happen. No one who works there understands food allergies or ethical veganism. He ended up comping our appetizer so our $58 dollar bill became $50. Never apologized for the fact that I will be physically sick from eating gluten or the fact they served us non vegan food. An apology would have gone a long way. Worst part was the server admitted we were given the wrong food and neglected to tell us until we asked. I would be more understanding of the mix up if this place didn't actively advertise vegan and gf options and if they acknowledged how serious their mistakes were.
Pros: The vegan food we received was good
Cons: don't have vegan and gf food on your menu if you d

Great Indian food! - Edit
I absolutely LOVE Indian food, but had recently had some sub par bhindi masala. That was NOT the case here. The lunch buffet was great each time I visited it. Including the bhindi masala. Plenty vegan options on the menu and buffet. Also super nice people and quick service.
Pros: Plenty vegan choices, Very good service, Lunch buffet

Great Vegan Indian Food in Boise! - Edit
Super friendly & knowledgeable owners. We ordered two curries and the gluten-free naan, all of which was some of the best Indian food we have ever had (and we have eaten a lot of it over the years). The food is made from scratch, and our dishes were ready in 15 minutes. Highly recommend this restaurant if you are in the Boise area!
Pros: DELICIOUS food, Friendly owners, Nice atmosphere

Best Indian food outside of India! - Edit
The food is made from scratch, is authentic, and the best Indian food I've ever had in this country! They know what "vegan" means, and even offer delicious, giant lassis made with coconut milk! That said, we had to wait 45-60 minutes for our food :-( They apologized and said that wasn't typical. That said, the food was totally worth the wait...next time I'll just bring a book. ;-)
Pros: Best Indian food ever, Vegan Lassi, Outdoor seating
Cons: Long wait

Taj Mahal in Boise - Edit
There are not many vegan options in Boise. The Taj Mahal is a good restaurant with meat, vegetarian and vegan dishes. We went there during lunch and had their buffet. Please do ask which items are vegan because the dishes were not labeled. The food was outstanding no complaints. The chai and lassi are a bit on the pricey side. Nice ambiance, seating inside and outside.
Pros: Bufett with lots of options, Friendly Staff, Excellent food
