Great Indian, knowledgeable staff - Edit
This is a great, traditional Indian restaurant in the heart of Bernkastel. The staff speaks English and is knowledgeable of veganism. There are a good number of vegan and vegetarian options on the menu (roughly 7 or 8, plus appetizers). The staff is sometimes bad about forgetting that you asked for no yoghurt sauce with appetizers, but I have been here at least 10 times since 2007, and every time has been a very positive experience. This is also your best chance at a vegan meal in the area from someone who understands what that word means.
Also serves take-away. Moderately expensive - can add up quickly after appetizers, drinks and main course.

As far as we know this would be the only option in Bernkastle-Kues for veg food. Lots of Vegetarian options, excellent service and wonderful food. We tried the Samosa, onion bahji, veg korma, a potato dish and a mushroom and spinach dish. Meals are served with fresh Nan bread and type of cracker with mango chutney, hot pepper dip and a yogurt/dill dip.
