Vegan Dosa - Edit

They were happy to cook a Vegan dosa for me. The dosa was traditional South Indian style and very delicious.

Pros: Able to adapt their dosa.

Cons: None for me except no vegan menu

Lacto-vegetarians are well catered for here, but the staff, while friendly and keen to help, struggled to suggest anything on the menu that was vegan: looks like dairy gets into almost everything. I didn't linger, as the air was full of deafening amplified sales babble from an adjacent shop (the restaurant is in the soul-destroying hell of a Westfield shopping centre), but the customers already eating seemed happy with their meals, and a masala dosa looked to be generously filled. So, good for lacto-vegetarians. Vegans used to have the option of Just Falafel, a 10-minute walk away on Church Street, which had at least three vegan items, but that has closed, so you may have to see if this place can come up with something.

Pros: good Indian lacto-vegetarian menu, friendly staff

Cons: almost nothing for vegans, located in Westfield nightmare
