My friend had the steak which was really good. My “taste experience” (evasion de saveurs) was excellent. To finish it of I had the mousse au chocolat that was the best! The owners and the staff were really friendly and capable of speaking some English! The first and so far only vegan restaurant in town.

Not a massive menu, but definitely good options. Didn't get the chance to try the desserts after sharing a maxi hummus platter and bourguinon (dish of the day) with my partner! Good service (french & English)

Our first French vegan restaurant experience 🌱 - Edit
We were so happy to find a vegan restaurant in our favourite city. The booking process was simple online and the hospitality was fantastic. I selected the dish of the day and my husband opted for the extra large mezze platter of Lebanese influenced foods - both were delicious, quality and good value for money. There was a relaxed atmosphere, lovely organic wine and an all round enjoyable experience. Can’t wait to bring fellow vegan family and friends to this restaurant!

Read moreMy Évasion de Saveurs was so good, I especially liked the crispy mushroom and cauliflower with a tasty dressing and the felafel had a great texture.
The beurre végétal maître d’hôtel that accompanied the Beyond steak was so tasty I could have eaten a pot of it - as it was I kept pinching it off my partner! And he was given extra.

Just because this is the only vegan restaurant in Tours, it's already a must if you are in town.
Read moreBut on top of that, the food is yummy; particularly the "Évasion de Saveurs", a composed plate where you can try most of their specialties at once.
For a change, it was also rather nice to be able to have the beyond meat steak on a plate with fries, without the bun.
We were a bit less impressed with the desserts, the tiramisu was something closer to a panacotta than a tiramisu. It had a generous amount of berries; but at the same time it was a bit too citric for me. The halva was good; but I would not sprinkle it with chocolate sauce as it's sweet enough. Perhaps the sauce could come on the side, or better yet, what if replacing it with fresh fruits?
In any case, the staff was friendly and the service was quick, so we had a good experience, overall.

Everything was sooo good! Tasty without being heavy or with too many ingredients, and the falafels were the best I’ve ever had!! Crispy but not oily, solid but not too dense/heavy, AMAZING!
And to add to the great food, the staff was so incredibly nice, to us and to our dog!

As the only 100% vegan place open on a Saturday night at Tours, we felt somewhat obligated to give Tahina a try. I was somewhat reticent, because a lot of what they had on their menu sounded like things you see at lots of vegan restaurants. But I was pleasantly surprised! The dishes seemed seasonal and varied. Where they trod on familiar ground, they both delivered very high quality and often a little twist on the usual. On top of that, the staff were very friendly and welcoming.

finally we found in the Loire valley a normal restaurant (i.e. no meat, diarie and egg). We took the Evasion, a plate with several of all their different dishes: delicious! And relaxed athmosphere!
