They're trying... - Edit
We came here as based on Happy Cow it's one of a few spots along the Promenade that seem to understand veganism. The staff are absolutely lovely, but they definitely struggle with the concept.
Read moreI ordered the falafel wrap (which now doesn't come with aubergine etc apparently, as per some reviews here show) and spent a while explaining that I didn't want mayonnaise, but tahini sauce etc is okay, I explained no egg/milk/yoghurt with a screenshot of a Google Translate page translating a basic explanation of what we can and cant eat. The meal came with white sauce drizzled beautifully over the salad and visible in the wrap. The waiter was lovely and promised me it was okay for us, he was very confident it wasn't egg/yoghurt and was vegan friendly. I gave in and accepted his promise as he was so genuine and sincere sounding! One bite in and he came back having obviously spoken to the chef (which I was genuinely grateful for, I love a follow up!) to say yes, it's literally just oil and egg in the mayonnaise nothing else. I advised that's the reason I'd asked for no Mayo and that I'd explained we don't eat egg. He had a 'lightbulb' moment and offered to remake the meal, which was great. The returned meal, though, was so dry I couldn't eat it. Almost dusty-dry. Husbands falafel burger was average, the bun was stale and collapsed on him, so he used the appetiser bread (came free on arrival with baba ganoush) to rebuild it.
As a result, we're not that impressed, sadly. I google-translate explained everything, which they were grateful for. They asked us to return to prove they'd do better next time, but we had plans for the rest of our stay. So sad, I really wanted them to get it right and share a positive experience as Agadir seems to struggle with tasty vegan options, but it was not a good day for them.
Having said that, if I could just get a fat plate of their chips (and a bowl of their baba ganoush to scoop up with them) and stuff on that with a cold fizzy something, I wouldn't be mad...the chips are incredible ;)
Pros: Chips, Friendliness, Location
Cons: Lack of understanding of what venagism means, Lack of comprehension that eggs = animal products!, No saucy alternative, no tahini sauce, spicy sauce

Disappointing - Edit
Had dinner here last night. Lots of veggie options and my food was pretty good when it arrived.
Read moreThe fattoush had a giant fried Pitta on top and they had removed the cucumber as requested. Baba ganoush and muhumaara dips were great too but not enough Pitta to accompany them.
Unfortunately food and drinks took a long time to arrive and my meal appeared significantly before that of my companions. Their food was disappointing. Shrimp pil pil had no flavour and chips were cold. The other meal was the wrong food with the explanation that the menu had changed. Not sure how you are supposed to know what you are ordering if the menu is not reflective of the dishes on offer!
Young waiter was doing his best but he seemed to be the only one doing any work.
All in all very disappointing.
Pros: Fattoush salad, Baba ganoush, Muhumarra dip
Cons: Service very slow, Served wrong food, Generally poor quality

Welcoming chef and good food - Edit
There are a lot of vegan/ vegetarian options, which are labled in the menu. We had a mixed starter plate with hummus, falafel, baba ganoush and several other dishes and a soup called harira. Everything was very good. We also got some marrocan tea and a demonstration how to drink it, which was very nice. The owner was very friendly and welcoming.

Fantastic flavours, great value - Edit
The owner was very helpful and knowledgeable in providing vegan options without being too pushy.
Read moreThe flavours were amazing, we had the mixed mezze, soups, fasolia, tapsi and for the sheer amount we had, it still came to under £40 including a tip!

Delicious Vegan food - Edit
Me and my wife went here a few times on our trip since we really enjoyed the food and service. Falafel wrap was delicious and so were the rice dishes with the aubergine and vegetable mix and also had the white beans one night which were my favourite. There's also a nice starter option of pitta bread pieces with various dips like hummus.

Good vegan options & very cheap. - Edit
Simple beach front restaurant with very cheap prices for food.
Read moreThe vegetarian options are good and marked, and the ingredients for the dish are listed in the menu, which makes finding the vegan friendly dishes very easy. Remember to ask for no sauces on salads & dishes as often this will be yoghurt based.
We had the Tapsi (aubergine & tomato stew served with basmati rice) and the Iraqi Falafel sandwich with chips (like a filled pita). There are many other options on the menu, e.g., a typical mezze of dolmas (stuffed vine leaves), humus, falafel, tabbouleh, etc, or you can also order these separately.
Food is well prepared and freshly made.
