Downgrade one star as I stated multiple times vegan and they served meat sambusa. Luckily I noticed and they apologized profusely and gave me a double order as a result

My favorite was the Difin Misir had just the right amount of spice.

Taffach was another reminder to me that the best vegan food in Davis is found in the international restaurants.
Read moreSuper friendly staff, cute place, portion of the menu dedicated for vegans, and some great food. Never had Ethiopian food, so I can’t comment on how good it is relative to the best, but all I can say is you’ll have tons of vegan options that are super yummy. A new favorite in Davis.

Tons of great choices, too many to try in one sitting. Great flavor, overall pretty mild on the spice. Need to come back to try everything - did a vegan combo to try 5 dishes at once.
