Great vibes but food is bland - Edit
This is a chill place in a cool part of town. The server is kind and friendly. Also worth mentioning that they opened at 12 on Sunday, not 3 as it says here
Read moreBut the food is bland and actually kind of not good. The mapo tofu tasted like water and black pepper. I don't think I'd eat here again
Pros: Big menu, Cool vibes
Cons: Food is gross

Nice experience - Edit
the staff were so nice and were so accommodating to foreign customers (English is not a problem!) there is a vegan menu as well. I had the vegan salad, cauliflower and a watermelon highball. the drink was so good but the food I tried personally was average. The place is open till late so it's definitely a good option if you're hungry late. Definitely go there if you're looking for drinks as they were good!

Vegan Menu at Food&Drink Bar - Edit
They have a separate vegan menu and quite a lot of options. The food was yummy, I got the Cauliflower Yellow Curry, Bread and Rati and it was really good. Just have to say that the food is a little bit greasy. They also have a lot of nice drinks. I especially liked the Wine Highball which tasted similar to the Spanish drink Tinto de verano.
Read moreThe Waiters mostly speak English and you can ask them about the menu items. I asked for the Rati which was not one the vegan menu, but they told me that there was at least to meat or seafood added during the preparation, but I am not sure if it is vegan.
The prices are fine, I paid 9500 won for the Curry and 4500won for the bread. These belonged to the cheaper options, other menu items as the Cauliflower wings and fried Eggplant were more expensive.

Robust vegan options! - Edit
The owner is a really cool guy! So friendly and personable. His vegan menu is awesome and offers an enticing variety of dishes from India to Taiwan. You are spoiled for choice and everything is delicious. I especially loved the knife cut noodles, cauliflower curry, eggplant chips and tam yum soup! The flavors pack plenty of freshness and flavors! The open air view is really great too and adds to the fun vibe of the place. Love taetaetae.

Part of society again - Edit
What’s this? An Omni pub in a popular area with vegan options? For a belly filling and drunken moment I can feel part of regular society again!

Great food - Edit
Lots of vegan options, there’s a vegan section on the menu and you order on the tablets on the table. They have a lot of options such as pad Thai, noodles, fried rice, curry, fried cauliflower and eggplant. Well priced including the drinks, was a really good price and very tasty.

Eat, Eat, Eat! - Edit
Great venue in central Seomyeon with welcoming pink neon vibes. Order from the menu screen which has multiple languages. The vegan menu has lots of options. I had fried cauliflower & galbi sauce (delicious!), eggplant chips & chilli caramel (delicious!), plus vegan pad see ew (tasty & served with fresh cilantro). A lovely chilled barley drink and pickles were offered at no cost. I will definitely come here again to try everything on the vegan menu!

Such a fun little spot! - Edit
I have to admit I was kind of meh on the idea of this place because I didn’t want pub food and I always find a place whose fries are highlighted as a vegan option to be a little sus… but my partner wanted to check it out and it was close to our hotel, and I am SO GLAD that I did. This place is truly excellent and a super fun place. I loved the vibe and the food was good!
Read moreThey have a separate vegan menu. Some of the items are listed on the nonvegan menu but I’m not sure if they follow a different recipe that makes them nonvegan, so make sure you order off the vegan menu. The mapo tofu was insanely good, and so was the stir fried morning glory (nice to get a real vegetable at a bar)! The tower of deep-fried enoki mushrooms was a lot of fun but often tasted more of fried than of mushrooms. We shared everything which was good because they did not come out at the same time.
The staff is super chill and they speak English as well as Korean. We had a few drinks, too, and definitely will come back here most nights for a nightcap after painting the town! I’m so lucky to be close to this Busan gem.

Great food and atmosphere - Edit
There is a vegan menu! You order by tablet. I had cauliflower galbi and fried rice which was delicious. My friend isn't vegan so she was able to get a meat option too. It's just up the road from Dajeon a vegan restaurant that has inconsistent hours.

World class vegetarian food and service! - Edit
Went here thrice during my stay in the area for two nights. Yes, thrice! That's how good they were. Had rice with mapo tofu which was my absolute favorite - they give you extra rice for free if you ask them politely. Then also had vegetable fried rice which was just as good. Unable to rate it 5/5 due to the app's limitations, else this is an easy 5/5 restaurant in terms of pricing, food, ambience, service.

Cool place - Edit
The french fries with truffle oil were 5/5. The menu is a bit on the pricey side (not for German but for Korean prices). The place itself has a very cool and relaxed atmosphere like a pub. You're able to eat delicious food and also drink as much as you want. 1 bottle of Soju is 5000 Won, 1 bottle of Cass or Terra also 5000 Won.

Separate vegan menu with many options. Great place to go if you are with non vegan friends or family! The food is really good! The owner sometimes gives free appetizers as well. Great location in seomyeon and open until 2am! So if you need some vegan food after partying… go here haha.

Get the Vegan Omakase! - Edit
I loved that they had a complete vegan section in their menu and even a vegan omakase!
Read moreLet me just say each dish was done so nicely with a lot of attention to detail. At first glance I probably wouldn’t have taken a second look at the bread or salad, but luckily I got the omakase because even those managed to impress me. The bread is simple but instead of a butter, it was this creamy, slightly sweet sauce that was frozen in a shaved ice dessert form (not the clunky ice but the thin layers of ice which is a specialty dessert in korea?) and topped with truffle.
My favorites though were the eggplant, each eggplant was cooked so darn well, like a true eggplant should be cooked. Only Asians cook eggplants this way. The eggplant should never be firm or rubbery, this one literally could melt in your mouth. Imaging biting into a crunchy sugar shell (of a sweet, spicy and tangy sauce) and having the hot eggplant just spill out into your mouth. It’s amazing.
The fried rice was absolutely amazing as well. Coming from a Chinese restaurant family…I always hear my dad go on about what makes a good fried rice and this had it! Never again can anyone serve a mediocre fried rice with cabbage and corn. This was filled with chives, green onion, fried garlic, and had just the right amount of oil and “wok air”. It’s cooked exactly like one of my old favorite Hong Kong fried rices from before I went vegan.
The soup also really hit the spot. It came in a black stone bowl giving vibes of kimchi soup, but had a super kick of spice and lemongrass - I had never had a soup that spicy before, but it was so good.
This spot gave me vibes of Asian fusion with an essence of Korean hospitality.
Definitely worth trying. I want to go back and try some of the other dishes like their knife cut noodles and enoki mushroom. But until then…
Pros: Eggplant crisp, Fried rice, Soup
veginsanity
Also forgot to mention after the bread that the salad had pieces of lychee and fried garlic, with the micro greens which really elevated the flavors.

Can’t recommend enough! - Edit
We were intending to go down the road for Daejon Cafe but it was closed. We aren’t sad about it as this was the best dining experience we’ve had in South Korea. A specific vegan menu with lots of options. We ordered 4 dishes between 2, which was plenty. Strong flavours and a lot of spice. Atmosphere is great too - very cosy.

Just what I craved! - Edit
This was a really good rice noodle soup! Enjoyed it thoroughly. Bit of a warming for people who don't handle spicy very well. The vegan menu was available in a separate category which made it very easy to find. Many options available and the shop looks really cool! Though for drinks the choose was small, alcohol or carbonated drinks, which I personally both don't drink.
