Super fresh! Incredible menu! - Edit
I luckily came on Taco Tuesday, where it is buy 2, get one free. I got the al pastor, Baja and asada tacos and couldn’t decide which I liked the most. The Al pastor and asada tacos had textures I’ve never experienced before that I really enjoyed. And the staff is really cool too. Can’t wait to come back and try more!

Best Vegan Burritos! - Edit
Taco Vega is amazing quality Mexican food and all vegan! They have great guacamole and salsa. I love the nachos with so Carne Asada mushrooms on top -the flavor is out of this world! The loaded fries are some of the best I have ever had. Their queso is delicious- their chips so fresh and taste house cooked.

The Supreme Burrito has the best refried beans as well- turned me on to refried beans.
They have lots of taco options if that is your preference.
The food is ridiculously good and the portions are excellent in size! You probably cannot go wrong ordering here.
I didn’t love their desserts as much as I love their food. I thought they were just okay. No plant based meats here only vegetable swaps posing or flavored as meats. I can’t wait to try the rest of their menu - I love what I get so much though I don’t know if I will switch it up. For takeout they are usually fast as well. I love Taco Vega - highly recommend it.

Best vegan food on Fairfax - Edit
This is hands down my favorite vegan spot in the Fairfax area. Almost everything I've tried from the menu has been amazing, but I especially love the burritos and the kale salad (even though I'm not much of a salad person, it has a perfect combo of ingredients). The churros are great too. It's not super expensive especially considering that there are usually leftovers. And this is a weird compliment, but I appreciate how the food has a sensible protein/vegetable ratio, unlike lots of vegan places.

Amongst so many of the Fairfax miracles past and present now enters yet another and a vegan one at that. Creative tacos, bring your non vegan friends (the asada and the baja are for them, imho), homemade horchata, and a great spicy salsa Roja matches the best trucks in the city.

Tacos were good and unique. You can tell effort went into them to make them more than your average taco bell taco. The iron man bowl was way too "healthy" tasting. Neither me nor my partner liked it and we actually ended up throwing it away mostly uneaten. I haven’t done that in a very long time. The entire bowl tasted like lemon herbal tea. I also didn't realize they'd put purple yams rather than regular yams which have a very specific flavor I wasn't the biggest fan of. The quesadillas were good but average. Tasted like daiya. Over all, I'd try it again but be more cautious what I ordered.

California burrito rocks in taste and it's filling. The mushroom asada is bomb. The marinade is legit! In this burrito or tacos where it's even more pronounced.

Asian flair tacos - YES - Edit
Hey this place opened during the pandemic and everything has some interesting Asian flair - I LOVE it. Watermelon radish on the nachos, tempura cauliflower taco, king oyster mushroom taco. Not like eating Asian food but just perfectly balanced adventure for Mexican food. The chips are outstanding. No meat replacements - instead: vegetables!

Amazing Mexican Food coming from a Mexican Gal - Edit
This place is amazing, they have a very unique taco selection. The tempura cauliflower taco, the poblano chile taco and pastor are exquisite, you have to try them out. My boyfriend loves the California Burrito. Just experience this Restaurant, it has become one of my favorite Mexican Vegan Restaurants.

So freakin' good! I always the grab the same thing. The California burrito (that mushroom carne asada is terrific) and the churros (mmmm, so delicious). Always great and friendly service. And they're able to customize my burrito so that it's not so spicy. Highly recommend this place for not only terrific food, but you're supporting a local business, and exercising kindness to animals. It's a win, win.
