Delicious and Inexpensive

Vegans: Taco Tico has an off-menu vegan burrito called the "Began" - a large jalapeno tortilla stuffed with beans, rice, and pico. There are many vegan options, though none are labeled and staff are not super familiar with vegan options. This is a fast food spot.
Basically, you can order any burrito or taco item without cheese or sour cream and with refried beans instead of meat and it will be vegan. Bean burrito no cheese, tacos no meat sub beans and no cheese, tostadas, etc. I normally order in the drive-thru. Instead of saying "sub beans for beef" which can be hard to understand through drive-thru, I say "no meat, substitute refried beans. No cheese." The best sauce IMO is the green chili - SO good. This place has been a fave since my teen years!

Pros: Lots of vegan options, Inexpensive, Delicious

Cons: Vegan items not labeled, No vegan cheese
