Vegan food truck at Tokyo National Museum, 18/6/2017
We had forgotten all about this one until we saw it while taking a break from viewing some of the many exhibits inside the museum. Food is macrobiotic, vegan, organic and delicious – rice, a saucy TVP dish, lettuce and avocado for just 800yen. Just what we needed and then we headed back into the museum to feed our minds some more. Was quick, reasonably priced (800yen) and tasty (though like many places the quantity wasn’t large – but savouring the food slowly helps one feel more satisfied on smaller quantities). Is unclear what the hours are but it was there from at least midday to 2pm (a Sunday). May locate in other parts of city on other days but couldn't fully figure that out.
The food truck is right outside of the main museum building, but behind the entrance gate. You need to buy a ticket to the museum to get through the gate. The food is a simple rice bowl with three toppings of your choice: avocado, fried onions and mixed beans. It's very tasty, but not very much food. It's about 750¥ per plate

Not here anymore - Edit
I walked around the park today and went to the museum and could not find this food truck anywhere.

Pros: conveniently located inside fee-pay area, tasty, quick
Cons: hours uncertain
