Delish! - Edit
Never had a taco that I didn't love! Both brick & mortar location and trucks are great.

small menu packs a big punch - Edit
Taco Party is small, and their menu reflects the size, but it doesn't matter because everything is delicious! I've brought multiple meat eaters here and all agree -- it's super tasty! My one wish for this place is that they'd beef up (not literally!!) their nachos -- I'm not a black olive fan, and that's a major ingredient. The sunflower cheese is SO good, I'd love to see it included in some taco entrees.

Great Place! - Edit
I can't believe it took me so long to try this place. I've been missing out! My tofu taco is delicious. The staff is also super friendly even though it's busy. I am a happy taco-loving vegan.
P.S. Get the chocolate chip cookie!

ALWAYS DELICIOUS - Edit
I am fortunate enough to have the Taco Party restaurant in my neighborhood. My family and I have visited at least 8 times this past year and it's always been delicious and fresh. I'm particularly in love with their plantain tacos, their chimichurri/tempeh tacos as well as their jackfruit tacos.
It is counter service, very casual, fast and affordable.

Taco party in your mouth! - Edit
All-vegan establishment with delicious tacos and sides. Really inexpensive, too. I had the Crispy Fried Tofu Taco (A+) and the Chorizo Seitan Taco (B) with a side of Tortilla Chips with Pinto Dip (A-), as well as a lime seltzer (A). Cost me $12.62, which is amazing. I will definitely come back, if I'm ever in Somerville again, and try the rest of their offerings.
Pros: Tacos!
Cons: Small space

A great take on traditional Mexican food. - Edit
The menu here is a great substitution for traditional Mexican tacos. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. $4 a taco is fairly priced for the quality of the food. I would definitely recommend if you're in the mood for a Mexican style lunch or dinner.
Pros: diverse variety of taco fillings. , friendly atmosphere. , dogs welcome.
Cons: slightly small venue.

BEST PLACE EVER - Edit
Keith is an absolute saint for opening a brick and mortar. I eat there at least once a week and have never had bad experience. The specials are always on point as well as the staples. Definitely get a chimichurri tempeh taco. They've added vegan cannoli, cookie, and cake options to the baker's case.

Vegan tacos and cupcakes!! - Edit
Do yourself a favor and dine at Taco Party which won't disappoint! The taco offerings are creative and absolutely out of this world. I've had the opportunity to try each, they're all wonderful, but the jackfruit and sweet potato are my favorites. They also have a case of deserts from Sabertooth, a local vegan bakery, which are incredibly yummy. It's so wonderful to see all vegan establishments popping up in the area and this one is a gem!

Great Vegan Eats - Edit
It's weird that there is one listing for both the restaurant and the truck here, but my review is for the restaurant in Somerville.
I was so excited when this place opened (I'd been to the truck about half a dozen times and I live only a few miles from this location) and I've been enjoying their food almost once a week since their opening last summer.
The selection is small, usually 4-5 taco choices, plus dips/sides and once in a while a special. The place is on the small side to eat in, but has 3 decent sized 4-person tables and some bar seating. The decor/atmosphere is green and slightly punk-rock/retro, but clean and professional, not anarchist like the old TJ Skallywaggles.
I usually get takeout which is fast and yummy. I often get 2 of the panko-fried tofu, chorizo, seitan or sweet potato tacos and sometimes the nachos side which is good, but quite spicy (& I love their homemade cheese sauce). I usually try the special, if there is one (taquitos, yum) and likewise the fresca.
Their taco flavors/combinations are a bit weird, so if you're expecting traditional beans & daiya cheese comfort food, similar to what is at other Northeast Mexican-American places, you might be disappointed. It's all-vegan, by the way.
Prices are reasonable, although they are a little stingy with tortilla chips if you get, say, a side of guac and chips.
Oh, I almost forgot about the Sabretooth bakery part. It's WONDERFUL to have vegan baked goods available. That said, these are mostly plain cake donuts with different candy toppings and a few cookie options, which are all good, but not the best vegan baked goods I've had & they are a bit pricey as well. The cider donuts are the best donut kind. I'd give 4 stars for Sabretooth and 5 stars for Taco Party, but I'll round the total review up to 5.
Pros: vegan savory & sweet treats!, friendly staff, comfy, relaxed atmosphere
Cons: small (physical), limited options (food)

Love the restaurant AND the truck! - Edit
One of the things I love the most about this place are the portion sizes. I get just the right amount of food and it's amazingly tasty. My favs are the chorizo seitan and the tofu. Their truck is near my place of work on Wednesdays and I had the opportunity to come here after I was starving from my 10K. Great hot sauces are available too, and next on my list is to try their nachos.
Pros: Yummy tacos!, Great prices

Terrific tacos! - Edit
Ran into them at SoWa---they are there about one Sunday a month, not advertised---and was delighted to be able to get vegan food. The tacos were truly delicious, satisfying for anyone not just vegans. There was a line but they were fairly quick about it. If I worked in town I would make a point of eating lunch at the truck every week.
Pros: Food, Nice staff
Cons: The line

Not your typical tacos - Edit
The Taco Party tacos are not your typical Tex Mex Fare. Each day the food truck serves four different tacos that rotate occasionally. Right now the menu includes Sweet Potato Tacos, Stewed Seitan and Tofu Tacos. I've had them all and they are all good.
Sides include black beans and rice, chips and pinto bean dip, and sometimes chips and guacamole. All are good, but the pinto dip is really unique.
All of the tacos are vegan unless you add dairy cheese. Vegan cheese (Daiya) is also an option.
They will post their locations on their Twitter and Facebook pages and are definitely worth seeking out. I recommend the two tacos plus one side dish for $10 option.
Pros: Yummy!, Very inventive cuisine, Reasonable Prices
Cons: Nowhere to sit!

slithers 15 Dec 2015 - I don't remember them ever having cow-cheese in the half-dozen times I was at their truck before 2015. Regardless, they seem to be all vegan now (no daiya or dairy cheese in their restaurant).

Pretty good - Edit
Didn't know about them before, but saw them at SoWa Market and decided to try their tacos out. Had the tempeh, the tofu, plus rice and black beans on the side. Solid food, good portion size, and - most importantly - ALL vegan for $10. Would definitely hit them up again!
Pros: good food
