Good Enough

Perfectly good Mexican--place and food. It is not a full "sit down" service place, like most Mexican places in this area; but prices are good and vegetarian choices exist. Nice salsa bar.

We have been here a number of times, but truth be told we now usually go to a neighbor, Super Taco. It's in the far corner of a shopping area kitty-cornered across the street to the northwest. We think the flavors of the vege burrito have an edge over Taco Loco, more extensive vegetarian choices, and maybe even more alert and knowledgeable staff, although the salsa bar is not as extensive.

Vegan Beans and Rice

I asked the lady who works there if they use Lard and animal broth for the beans and rice and she said no. She said they are vegetarian.

crazy place..every mexican place in town is better

i wanted to get some tacos...the person helping me wanted to charge $1 extra for veg. tacos, although i was omitting the rice (b/c it has chicken broth), the sour cream, and the cheese. leaving me with a bean and lettice taco for $1 more than a bean, rice & meat one.

really, other mexican restaurants in town are going to charge less & hopefully not have meat in the rice. but if you're not veg. or vegan, it's great...

Pros: don't eat it

Cons: chicken in rice, overcharged, other mexican = better
