Serves meat, vegan options available. At this local Mexican food restaurant and bar you will see labeled vegan choices on the menu; has tofu sour cream. Casual, plenty of seats. Reported closed August 2020.
Yummy Mexican Vegan Options in Williamsburg - Edit
We stumbled across this little gem, tucked off the main drag in Williamsburg and we were surprised how many clearly marked VEGAN options were on the menu. There were even more that are vegan but not marked as such. For example, the Horchata is homemade rice and almond “milk” scented with cinnamon and vanilla. 100% Vegan, but not listed as such, so read the ingredients.
The largest sections of the menu is where you will find the vegan options: Signature Tacos & Burritos and Classic Tacos & Burritos. Each dish can be order as a taco or burrito. Each of the tacos in the “Signature” section come piled high on 2 soft tortillas, so you can easily make two tacos from each order. If you order any of these as a burrito instead of as tacos, you get the option of using rice or potatoes in the filling.
The Conejo comes filled with whole pinto beans, cabbage, salad, guacamole, rice, salsa fresca, tofu sour cream.
The Napolitos is a soft tortilla piled with marinated baby cactus, red peppers, garlic. This one has some kick to it. Delicious!
The Santa Cruz comes with sautéed spinach, black beans, avocado, lettuce, salsa fresca, tofu sour cream.
There are also lots of vegan drinks and salads. Great gem in vegan-friendly Williamsburg!
