Delicious!! - Edit
I did a yoga class here in the morning which was amazing and then we enjoyed veggie sausage “egg” and cheez breakfast sandwiches and home fries, and grabbed a lunch to go of cold noodle salad and a ceasar salad. Everything was delicious, and I feel like I didn’t even scratch the surface on what was available!

Beautiful place with great service - Edit
I’m a sucker for smoothies, and I really enjoyed the one I got. They have a bunch of vegan sandwiches, an array of deli items, and they were nice enough to customize my burrito to be filled with vegetables instead of fake egg and cheese, which was an excellent intervention. There’s plenty of vegan baked goods and treats in the case, and I had a really enjoyable a delicious experience overall. Indoor and outdoor dining areas are beautiful. Two single occupancy bathrooms.

Plenty of vegan options - Edit
This is the cafe adjoining The Local Grocer natural store and yoga studio. I had the tempeh a la harlan which was very delicious, albeit a bit oily for my taste, as well as the herbed beet salad which was very very delicious. Also ordered two maple oat milk lattes and a vegan handmade chocolate which blew my mind. It was the rose ganache flavor. It was very rich dark chocolate with a beautiful floral undertone. I wanted to buy more for the road but I didn’t want them to melt.

Vegan baked goods and premade items!! - Edit
Seriously this little cafe and the grocer is amazing. This was the second day in a row and 3 meals in a row that we stopped in here. Everything is fresh, so many vegan options and the staff are so friendly. And not to mention an amazing selection of vegan donuts. So good.

Hit or miss - Edit
I feel like their tofu scramble is too salty and their fruit and granola was a little disappointing- only apples and bananas as ‘seasonal fruit’. However their smoothie bowl and maple latte are outstanding. Cute atmosphere with a market attached.

Upscale health conscious dining - Edit
Great cafe with a relaxing upscale atmosphere. This restaurant has become a xmas eve tradition. This is the second year we dine here for a holiday dinner. The staff is very friendly and they knew we were a return guest. The owner Heather personally came over to thank us for the return business. Menu was well marked with vegan and glutenfree options.
Read moreThe "surf and turf" with tofu and king mushroom "scallops" was tasty and well prepared. The 'meatloaf" was very flavorful and the sauce was a nice add. Love the mash potatoes and the kale.
Great place to celebrate a holiday or special occasion but expect to pay more than $40 a person.
Pros: Great food, fine dining , Friendly staff
Cons: Very pricey but high food quantity , A couple of vegan offering

Disappointing - Edit
Wanted to love it because we love breakfast and lunch at the Local Grocer. First we sat for 40 minutes before our order was even taken. Got tempeh dish - tempeh was dry with little sauce. Tempeh and sauted greens were lukewarm. Only good part was the coleslaw. My husband got the “trust the chef” veg dish - seasonal veg dishes served three ways. It was three grouping of vegetables put on top of three different sauces that were pretty bland. All three were cold dishes - they were at some point streamed and grilled, but were served cold on top of the sauces. It would make an ok appetizer but a $27 dinner it was ridiculous. Desert and herbal drinks were ok. We spent a lot of money on dinner and left hungry and disappointed. Seeing how both vegan dishes not good, I would not try this place again- too much money for food that was barely ok. Go to Flatbread and get a vegan pie instead.

The Best Top Quality Fresh Food! - Edit
A very cute, quaint spot with with a lovely retro feel to the place. The vegetables are grown locally, they make their own fresh bread and cashew cream cheese. Overall I highly recommend and also it is not overly expensive :)

Amazing food and atmosphere - Edit
I went here twice for breakfast while visiting and loved their tempeh scramble that comes with house made cashew cheese. The inside is super cute and well lit for Instagram photos if that’s your thing! I was with my non-vegan friend and she got the bagel with hummus, was unimpressed by it but appreciated the size of the menu so we went back the next day with a larger group. Unfortunately it took forever for the food to come out, and they even messed up someone’s order and gave her a completely different meal, and then brought out the correct meal 15 minutes later when it was too late. That didn’t go over well with the group but at least we didn’t get charged for it! I would still go back based off the tempeh scramble!

Best vegan options on North Conway - Edit
I had been begging local grocer for years to make a dinner space since I love their vegan breakfast. Guess what? They finally opened a place for dinner. It was really good. I'm happy that there is a place where I can get proper vegan dinner in North Conway after a day of hiking, ice climbing, cycling or skiing in the area.
