Great food, good prices - Edit
Three of us are here and everything we had was really tasty and well prepared. Couldn't fault any of the dishes we had. They also have this amazing living moss wall in the restaurant. The restaurant is tucked away in the Portuguese Quarter.

I went with a friend and ordered 7 different small plates. I loved 4 of them, 3 were nice. I also had the pumpkin cake for dessert which was more like hot mochi than cake- it was good. And the non-alcoholic drinks are awesome. It gets very busy (even on a Monday night) so definitely make a reservation. It is a big place witg only two waiters.

Es ist ein rein veganes Restaurant und die Bowls sind super lecker. Unbedingt mehrere bestellen, da die Bowls ziemlich kleine Portionen sind. Die Bedienung ist auch sehr freundlich.

Why is so much of German Vietnamese food deep fried? I couldn’t find fresh spring rolls on the menu. The green papaya salad was good as were the steamed dumplings and hot Vietnamese coffee. Also enjoyed both desserts which were steamed. A pumpkin and a banana dish.

Read moreMy main dish was tasty but didn’t quite reach the level of the many extraordinary Asian dishes I’ve already tried. The dessert was very interesting, as it combined banana and coconut milk with some black bean paste which was not really my cup of tea but still an experience to try.
Service was a little slow as well, but all in all a good experience.

This restaurant is not far from the main area of the harbour and has a good reputation, so it's often quite full. But we still were able to get a table for 5 without waiting time.

TA vegan house makes it perfect: they provide a lot of options, but still have a clear way, in which direction they want to have their food.
My choice fell on #1 Bao Buns and #21 Golden Lotus.
Everything was really tasty and it was also very pleasing for the eye. The flavours all matched well. A small detail for me would be providing the Wantans next to the soup, so they stay crispy.

We had a bowl with a spring roll and lots of different ingredients, and it was delicious. The price was also very fair. If you are in Hamburg for a day, Ta Vegan House is definitely worth trying.
