Serves meat, vegan options available. Family-style dutch pancake restaurant located on a ship. Offers vegan pancakes with a variety of sweet and savoury toppings. Pancake batter can either be soy milk based or water based. Specify vegan. All you can eat option available for groups of 7 or more, please book a day in advance and ask for the vegan options. Removed June 2023: Limited vegan options.

No vegan pancakes

The staff doesn't bake vegan pancakes, they say it is because vegan pancakes make the pan degrade quicker.

Pros: Good taste

Cons: Not vegan friendly

Fine but expensive

The staff unfortunately wasn‘t that helpful for us. She didn’t explain what exactly could be made vegan and how. Neither is anything labelled in the menu. So we ordered the only obviously vegetarian pancake which costs 15€. It was fine in taste but the cheese was just left away without substitution. Also the curry sauce was a weird ingredient for that mix. Only when paying we realized the „vegan option“ aka leaving stuff away costed 1,5€ extra which the waitress did not mention. 16,5€ for a simple pancake with vegetables is a lot of money for me.

Cons: Expensive + paying extra for vegan, Nothing labelled + no help by staff

Friendly staff and great vegan pancakes

Since the vegan options are unlabelled my friend asked the waitress if the vegetarian pancake could be made vegan which they could. The pancake was large and fulfilling. Afterwards I ordered a Swedish pancake and the waitress remembered I was vegan and made the pancake vegan. Absolutely lovely staff! The Swedish pancake was super tasty as well. Overall, this is a great family friendly place to eat vegan pancakes. Kids (or people who are still kids at heart 😉) will especially love the interior of this pancake ship. My only suggestion for improvement is to update the menu and label what pancakes can be made vegan. 🥕
