Organic restaurant and bar that cooks only vegan food and uses no tap water. Only water from own reverse osmosis plant is used, even for coffee and drinks. Lunch menu features salads, warm dishes, dips and bread. Evening meals are an international a la carte menu with organic wine and juice from the Saxony region. Fri-Sat serves breakfast until 4pm, lunch from 12-4pm, then dinner. Sunday is brunch 9:30am - 3:00pm then evening menu. Since 2013 took over the location Restaurant Eden and in 2014 menu switched from vegetarian to vegan. Reported closed September 2023.

Delicious Sunday brunch in a relaxed atmosphere - Edit
Having been for brunch before at the cafe that was once in the same location, we were pleased to hear that this place did veggie brunch with a focus on organic and regional ingredients.
Read moreMost of the food was vegan (with the exception being a plate of cheese) and included a mixture of hot a cold stuff, such as: bread, croissants, spreads/dips (e.g. hummus, guacamole, jam, chocolate spread), salad, fruit salad, fake meat slices (seitan), German-style potato salad, yoghurt and cereal/muesli. The hot things were a Mediterranean vegetable bolognese, a bean and mushroom casserole, potato soup, roasted pumpkin wedges, boiled potatoes, curry falafel and a pear and chocolate crumble.
The quality of the food was good and there was a good variety on offer to please most. The focus on seasonal produce was great. We paid €12.90, which includes a drink, with children between 5-11 paying €6,90 and children under 4 eating for free.
One thing to note is that although they open at 10, the hot food isn't brought out until 11:30.

Read moreThe main reason for this is that the served portions are really small. We were there for breakfast and payed between 17 and 22€. It was not even close to being enough to feel well satisfied. I personally had the "Cheeze Breakfast" which had some special selfmade vegan cheeses on it. In terms of taste, it was partially even great, but mostly just good or okay.
Service was also not that great. We were missing bread and buns that should have been with our order. After asking for it, it took another ~20 minutes when we received two more sliced of bread when everyone was basically finished. We never received the missing buns. The service feeled generally overloaded and was honestly also not really nice (which might be caused by being overloaded). When the rest of my family wanted to order their drinks with oat milk, they were advised by the service that it would have hardly any foam and the cashew milk would have the best foam. As I still had the menu opened, I decided to go for the regular soy milk as the cashew milk had an extra price of one euro, which is a loot for a small drink in my opinion. In the end, the soy milk had perfect foam. This felt for me like service was suggesting the most expensive option.
The location was small and stacked.
Apparently, the kitchen staff changed more than once in the past which might explain more positive feedback in the past. It is still unbelievable for me how this restaurant can be rated that well. I dont think I have ever been to a vegan restaurant that I would have rated less than 4 stars.

Way too expensive for the experience I received. Almost 35€ costed a buffet on a Sunday, but that place is cheap in every aspect of it. The interior, the tableware, a bit of a cold service. If you want a nice restaurant feeling, it isn’t the place. The variety of dishes weren’t that big as well, but it tastes alright and overall was pretty healthy foods.

Went there in November. It didn't quite live up to our expecations unfortunately. The home-made cheeses and sausauges did not have much flavor. Not much else to put on the bread (besides jam). The selection was a bit limited for a brunch buffet. The hot dishes were nice (therefore 4 stars, not 3) but only came out after over an hour of eating, so we weren't very hungry anymore by then. We have been to other vegan brunches at restaurants so kind of expected a bit more. Maybe would have been better to go there for dinner.
