They had a veg starter. Falafel (prefab) homus and if extra protein is needed you can choose Haloumi.

Delicious Food and Very Kind Service - Edit
The food was absolutely delicious, and the staff were incredibly kind and welcoming. The dishes were clearly labeled as vegan, which is not something you see very often here. I really appreciated that and would happily come back.

Die Lokation war sehr gemütlich und es gab einige vegane Optionen. (was für Österreich nicht unbedingt Standard ist) Ich habe mich für die Spaghetti mit Pilzrahmsoße entschieden und die haben mir wirklich gut geschmeckt. Die Bedienung war sehr nett und wir haben schnell unser Essen bekommen.

Wir hatten den veganen Vorspeisenteller und die vegane Pizza (eher ein Flammkuchen). Vorspeisenteller war ok, die Pizza ganz gut. Für den Preis hätten die Portionen ruhig ein wenig größer sein können.

Very good service. No music. Nice vibe indoors. Lots of vegan options. I had the spaghetti with mushroom sauce and a dessert and it all tasted well.

Tasty and interesting meals - Edit
Although they have only few vegan options, we liked that it was not the easy meals (like spaghetti aglio olio) but something different - interesting type of pizza, really nice creamy spaghetti etc. Meals were nice and rich in flavour.

Tasty vegan food in a traditional Austrian setting - Edit
We enjoyed our dinner at S’wirthaus. The food was tasty, although some of the dishes could have been a bit bigger.

- The vegan appetiser platter: very tasty, a wide variety of grilled veggies, rucola salad, sundried tomatoes, hummus and falafel. The bread that came with it was warm and delicious, although we weren’t sure whether it was vegan or not - we just assumed it (we normally don’t, though).
- The tomato crème soup was very good and tasted fresh and intense, with the spices and herbs playing a wonderful part.
- We had spaghetti with a cream mushroom sauce. Again, it was delicious, but we had hoped for a bigger amount of spaghetti and more sauce for the price - we ate big eaters.
- We had a portion of sweet potatoes with a fruity dip sauce, which we took home to pair with bread. 😃 We would have preferred less salt on the sweet potatoes.
- We also had a portion of potato fries, which didn’t look great at first sight, but were actually quite okay - although the portion was rather small for the price.
The service was good, although a bit chaotic because the place was very busy. We appreciated our smiley waitress, who has intense red hair to match her Tiroler outfit.
My wife was sad that the lentil deal with chickpeas was sold out; so we cannot give an opinion about it, only that it is very popular.

The food at s’Wirthaus was delicious - 5 vegan options extra 10 veggie options. First place we stopped for lunch after seeing it on here, highly recommend!
Read moreI (vegan) had the lentil daal, which was lovely and came with fresh bread. My partner (veggie) had the hummus platter which I think I’ll be having (without the halloumi) when we come back, as it was amazing.
Clearly an environmentally conscious establishment (paper straws!) as even the non-veg options were at least all locally sourced.
