Okay food, lots of vegan options

Diner style restaurant with many vegan options clearly marked on the menu, although it served animal products.
We ordered the veggie burger and the tortilla soup with vegan cheese. The food was just okay, so I probably wouldn't go back unless I was in the area and this was the only open place with vegan options.

Great vegan options for being up at 1 am

This place is great to go to if it’s 1 am and you’re hungry. There’s a decent amount of vegan options including the burrito and wrap which were really enjoyable. Unfortunately there is quite a bit of meat on the menu though and some of the pictures they have in their menu and what not are a bit derogatory and sexual. I would go here again if I wanted some decent food and nothing more vegan was open.

Pros: Good vegan burrito, Good vegan wrap, Clearly marked vegan items

Cons: Lots of meat on the menu, Not the most family friendly (raunchy pictures)

Chill place open late

Swingers is a great place to meet. With great vegan options, and a staff that knows what the word vegan means. I wish the vegan menu was a little bigger, but ultimately I’m thankful for a diner style meal at reasonable prices. It’s a move alternative to the veggie grill down the street.

Pros: Clearly marked vegan items, Great music , Fun atmosphere

Cons: Needs more vegan options

One of My Favorite Restaurants

Swingers is a great place to bring non-vegan (or vegan) friends and family because they have tons of great options for everyone! Definitely my go-to place, especially late at night! I always see cool people there, too; me and my boyfriend even saw Josh Groban there once after seeing him perform just a few hours before in DTLA lol.

My favorite things to order there are the vegan cobb salad and vegan chili cheese fries! On Sunday they have super yummy vegan chocolate chip pancakes!

Pros: yummy vegan options, cool staff, nice vibe

Cons: pricey, slow service, always busy

Local diner

This place has existed at this location for many years now and appears to be doing all right. I've eaten here several times over the years - was just here this week. Here's my Swinger's Diner review update.

It's on the corner of a busy intersection. The decor is retro-hip. Not all veg but the large menu labels what is or can be vegan, and the choices are plenty. It's a place where vegans can go with non-veg friends, and everyone can order what they want.

This week friends and I share a vegan burrito (filling of quiona & spinach), vegan pancakes (thick and filling), vegan nachos (flavorful but salted), and the veggie burger with house-made quinoa based patty (bread too dense, patty okay, a bit dry overall).

I prefer to eat at fully veg places, but Swinger's is a fair choice when dining out with non-veg friends, or if it's very late at night and you're hungry.

Nothing to write home about but they do have a bunch of vegan options and you can go there with your non vegan friends.

Good breakfast

I ate here for breakfast last week. It's a good place to take omnivores so that everyone can be happy with their meal. There were several vegan options on the menu and I opted for the Soyrizo Scramble and added avocado to it. The meal came with black beans, salsa, and a tortilla, I felt that the combination of everything tasted really good. As stated in a prior review, Swingers is a fun 50's style diner and it seems to be very popular. I'd definitely go again.

great late night spot

I've relied on swinger for over a decade to feed me at 2am when im out with a pack of wild omnivores. The most amazing thing about swingers is that they will make me a custom healthy quinoa veggie wrap without oils. They have plenty of unhealthy vegan food, as well. Its a fun quirky 50s diner kind of place. This location allows smoking outside so beware.
