This place is great! Plenty of seating inside, friendly staff who speak English. The food is delicious, and the meal combo is good value (€8-10 for a burger/wrap, chips/salad and a drink). The wrap was so big that I ate the other half later on for dinner!

A lot of people rave about how good the burgers are but personally i dont like them much. The patties are bland, way too much salad & cabbage mix in the bun and there are much better other options in town (like Veggiezz and Voodies)
However im happy to read they are expanding their franchise in the city.

We have ordered for take away a vienna burger, falafel wrap, chili burger, and some salads, along with three deserts (cookie sandwiched blueberry vanilla ice cream, tofu cheesecake, and poppy seeds raspberry yogurt cake) and everything tasted just perfect and looked very fresh. It was also prepared quite fast and it was interesting to observe how our meals are being prepared.

Ich hatte mich sehr gefreut, endlich mal das swing kitchen ausprobieren zu können. Ich hatte den Chili Bürger, mein Freund den Cheese Burger. Es war ok, aber keine Geschmacksexplosion. Ich war enttäuscht. Das Tiramisu war unserer Meinung nach reiner Alkoholgeschmack, einzig allein der Mandel-Nougat-Kuchen war lecker. Wir werden da vermutlich nicht mehr hingehen

Auch wenn wir selber eher flexi-Veganer sind, möchten wir auf Reisen auf eine veganen Ernährung nicht verzichten. Swing Kitchen macht es einem damit mehr als leicht, denn selbst mit der Bezeichnung Fast Food kann man dennoch mit einer liebevoll gerichteten Köstlichkeit rechnen! Nur zu empfehlen!

Fantastic vegan fast food - Edit
I visited the Swing Kitchen a week ago with two friends who are not vegans. We all were very impressed with the food quality, the taste, and deliciousness of the meatless burgers and falafel wrap. The staff was very polite and the ambiance was perfect.

The swing kitchen lives up to its name, with swing music playing and the waitresses dressed up in 50's style. The menu was extensive and I wish I could have tried more, but the Vienna Burger and Onion Rings were really delicious. I wanted to get a quick take-out and catch a train, but the place was packed so it took 12 minutes or so to get my food, not exactly quick but still decent given the crowd.

Great burgers that you can get in a meal deal with a drink and fries or salad. Plus other choices on menu. We had the burger meal deal which was excellent but unfortunately we were so full we just couldn't fit in dessert, although they looked amazing- cheesecake, tiramisu, doughnuts and more. Great value and nice music in the background.

I've made many a visit to both of Swing's current downtown locations, and most of them have been astounding. The music...swingy, the tables clean, the service quick, the staff nice, the plastics biodegradable, the ethical values stellar and the food tasty, if not a wee bit messy (but that's mostly to be expected with massive burgers and bulging wraps, though I wish they'd cut the latter in two). If I was allowed to change anything, I'd add both 'vollkorn' and gluten-free bread options, a low-carb lettuce 'bun', sweet potato pommes and perhaps a plainer, tidier burger to the menu. I'd also rework the sauces and dressings, as they are a tad sugary, I find.
Read moreIt's a great concept, and I was absoloutely engulfed in Schadenfreude when I noticed that their fourth location is taking over a McDonald's; this place isn't just attracting full-on vegans, and my dear non-veggie friend (who often seems to want to eat here more often than I do) is most certainly a testament to that. I hope they and their peers grow until each and every last relic of the Golden Arches is eradicated from Vienna, Austria, Europe and, hopefully, the planet! (*Insert sinister, maniacal cackle here*)
In all of my visits, the food has been expectedly well-prepared too - except for this last instance. After waiting for a rather inordinate amount of time for my seemingly-simple, 'zum Mitnehmen' (take-away) order of gluten-free nuggets and a garden salad and walking to a nearby park because the restaurant (and inexplicably/seemingly all of Vienna, for that matter) was packed, I realised that my nuggets were still very much frozen inside. Obviously I went back and asked for a new batch, which they promptly provided, but not without a strange, dubious look as well.
Thinking all had been sorted, I returned to the park and proceeded to eat my salad whilst the new, thankfully-piping-hot nuggets cooled down...until it transpired that they'd forgotten to include a fork. -.-
We all have those days!
Bottom line: If you're okay with wheat and/or gluten, have mastered the art of burger/wrap-eating, feel like some naughty food and desire to eat it in a really nice ambiance (or to-go without the guilt of being terribly wasteful), then this is a pretty great and increasingly ubiquitous option.

We visited Swing Kitchen twice during our stay in Vienna. We tried their burgers and wraps. They have probably the best burgers and tiramisu we have ever eaten. Really generous food portions for an affordable price.
