Gorgeous decor - Edit
Really lovely decor at the rooftop bar in Freo.
Read moreWe arrived before the kitchen was open so enjoyed a drink over looking the Fremantle docks until we could order.
We just ordered some light bites to eat, the Edamame were really tasty in the black bean and vinegar sauce, and the San Choy Bow (vegan option) was light and fresh, however the lettuce leaves were a bit small so ended up eating it as a salad. Really liked the Naan Bread, so soft!
Very vegan friendly, but we didnt realise there was a separate vegan menu, we were only given the regular menu. We realised this later when reading a past HC review, and then checking out the website that a separate vegan menu does exist. There is also a gluten free menu. So you may need to ask to see it.
Lots of vegan options.
As there are no veggie places open at night in Fremantle I'd go back as food is good quality.

Delicious Fried Rice and crispy eggplant - Edit
Loved this place. Beautiful view, great live music, friendly helpful staff, separate vegan menu and delicious food and drinks. We ordered the fried rice and the crispy eggplant. Both delicious. The crispy eggplant dish was a star ⭐️.

Delicious meal - Edit
Several vegan options on a specific gluten free menu, suited for me. The spiced silken tofu and mushroom fried rice were a perfect choice to fill me up

Good intentions but disappointing - Edit
Beautiful venue and love that they have a separate vegan menu. The gado gado dumplings and gochujang cauliflower were nice but nothing I would go back for. The corn fritters had almost no corn and were just oily balls of dough. The XO noodles were way overcooked and far too sweet. My husband also didn't enjoy his omni dishes. The staff were friendly but service was virtually non-existent (it took half an hour just to get tap water). Unfortunately it wasn't a great experience for us.

Lovely ambiance and some excellent vegan dishes - Edit
The venue is lovely: an airy patio with views of the Fremantle port, great for outdoor dining as well as the indoor section. They have gone to real effort to cater to vegans, with a separate vegan menu, which has several dishes in each of at least 4 categories, plus there is a "feed me" vegan banquet option. We found most of the vegan dishes delicious. The cauliflower massaman was very tasty and satisfying, and we very much enjoyed the dumplings with peanut sauce. The corn fritters were absolutely divine, somehow both crisp and chewy, with a nice combination of kimchi and some kind of sauce. Less satisfying was the green pawpaw salad - the veggies themselves didn't have very nice flavours raw and the sauce was a bit flavourless - and the steamed lotus buns, which are simply flat white bun material folded in half - there is no filling of any kind. But these were only minor dishes, and the majority of dishes were great. Note this restaurant is pretty pricey, but the atmosphere and overall food quality are worth it.

Cons: Price a bit on the high side, A couple of the small dishes not great

Vegan banquet is yum - Edit
We went to Sweetwater for Valentine's dinner and ordered the vegan banquet. So much food and all delicious! Particularly enjoyed the Thai Eggplant & Hor Fun Noodles. The rooftop is a really nice setting and the staff were very attentive. Highly recommended!
