Order at the counter from the pre-designed menu of salads, or build your own. Has tofu for add-in or as substitution for meat plus other fillings like nuts, seeds, cabbage, onion, corn, and cucumber. Ask for vegan dressing. Open Mon-Fri 10:30am-10:00pm, Sat-Sun 10:30am-9:00pm.

Cashless and fast salad - Edit
This place is at the edge of Navy Yard and DC, but it's your classic salad bar. Just don't expect (as per sweet green stores in general) to show up with cash and get anything here - it's cashless.
Read moreAnyhow, that out of the way, it's a great choice for a fast salad because you're in Navy Yard and are hungry, but you want healthy. They have all the great sweetgreen options you're looking for in a space with lots of seating.
Make your own salad or grain bowl, using quinoa or spinach or arugula or wild rice or kale, and then add in four toppings of your choice. Avocado is extra, but who doesn't like avocado? The best dressing is still the spicy cashew. I like to add in quinoa to my salad bowl for extra protein and calories. Bread is optional.
If you're dining in store, remember to ask for a normal bowl not a throw away bowl.
Menu items are clearly marked vegan, mostly for the dressings will this matter.
