Serves meat, vegan options available. Chain of quick-service salad bar restaurants originating from Washington DC where its first outlet was est. in 2007. Order at the counter from the pre-designed menu of salads, or build your own. Has tofu for add-in or as substitution for meat plus other fillings like nuts, seeds, cabbage, onion, corn, and cucumber. Ask for vegan dressing. Open Mon-Sun 10:30am-9:00pm.

Healthy, quick food

This place is not that far from a bunch of hospitals. If you are visiting someone at one of those hospitals (or working there) and are looking for a quick, healthy, vegan meal, there is not much else around the immediate vicinity. Fortunately, however, Sweetgreen is a quite good counter serve salad place. They offer a vegan "Shroomami" bowl which is quite delicious, plus you can custom build healthy vegan salads. This branch, like most of theirs, is comfortable, clean, and attractive, with a bunch of available seating, as well as a small park next door for outdoor eating.

Customizable Options

There aren't necessarily a lot of explicitly vegetarian/vegan menu items but there are plenty of customizable options and the ingredients taste fresh and substantial. I'd say this is a safe option for a decent price (compared to other city food prices)
