Eh

They had a good amount of options, but i wasn't super impressed with what i got, especially considering the price. Tried 2 brownies and apple cider donuts

Edit: I gave this place another shot since it had been some time and got the cinnamon roll. It was weirdly chalky and not good at all. Maybe I keep getting the wrong items?

Half the store is vegan

I am so grateful for this place. Everything is neatly labeled, whether it is egg free, and/or dairy free or vegan. I’d say at least half the store is completely vegan and of course, all the store is gluten free. I am both vegan and gluten free, so it’s heaven for me.

Pros: So many vegan options, All gluten free

Great hidden gem

I was pleasantly surprised with how well the cake slice I bought held together. Normally gluten-free desserts I've tried manage to get the flavor down, but struggle with the texture and cake slices staying moist, but not this one! The cookies were also good sizes (not teeny tiny like some other vegan cookies).

Pros: Flavor, Portions, Variety

Cons: On street parking only

Baby doll Bakery

This place is awesome! Now goes by the name Baby doll bakery, new owner. So many yummy vegan treats ready to go. Also, mixes for cakes, cookies, and frosting’s which is nice for convenience.
Also, for those of you who are doing gluten-free, everything in the store is gluten-free. Special order cakes require two weeks notice, but so nice to have options!

Pros: Friendly, owner and staff!, Vegan caramel sauce, in a jar!, So many yummy vegan options, ready to go!

Cons: None

How can you screw a cake up that bad?

If I could give it a -0 I would. I am just able to write this review because of my honeymoon. I ordered a mini wedding cake for my wedding. My wedding was a month ago, and I ordered it maybe a month or so before. I spent almost 60 bucks for the driest, overly dyed, ugly cake. I gave this woman a picture, I spoke to her about the description and color and it still came out horrid. When we picked it up I immediately said that's not what I wanted. My wedding was the NEXT day so....it was not the ugliest but I said it's fine, I will take it. My mother even wanted to buy some baked goods from her anyway. Even after the dissatisfaction. She gave us the two items for free, which she did not have to (no one asked). No one was upset until she opened her mouth! She told me if I did not like it, she could sell it to someone else! A cake I ALREADY paid for! No offer to REFUND, just sell my cake because she got in her feelings! She stated that she did not know what I wanted, we don't do fake cakes...I asked her could she do a design (that she did all over the cake) at the bottom like a skirt, and have the rest of the tall cake white. Not rocket science. My mother's presence is the ONLY reason I did not flip after that comment. Back to the dryness....she said she can do dairy-free. I was happy and asked her if she used almond milk or something she said yes. I believed she used water only. Worst ever will never ever be back and I told EVERYONE. I know of four weddings that were happing after mine. They were huge wedding orders, I told them nope, go to this bakery I know in Chicago. I should have just made my own cake. The restaurant had better cake anyway.

Tons of vegan options

Bakery with so many vegan items. They put a color-coded sticker next to everything so you can see what is vegan, GF, etc. Or you can ask the helpful staff. The brownies are ridiculously good and we love the cupcakes.

Vegan sweets, queso dip and tamales

Charming location on historic 3rd St. in downtown Geneva. The vegan queso is amazing and often is sold out. It's about $8 for a small container. There is a daily assortment of vegan bakery items such as large cookies. Vegan bakery items are labeled with colored dot stickers. They also offer vegan tamales in the cooler, 3 for $9.
Also everything here is 100% gluten-free. This was previously a co-op bakery but recently they changed and they get everything from a wholesale(?) bakery off-site. However, they’ve added to-go refrigerated vegan entrees from Atlantis Vegan Grill - so you can pick up lunch or dinner along with vegan deserts from the bakery case.

Great options for vegan desserts.

The vegan cupcakes are to die for. Sometimes there are delicious vegan cookies. The place offers good selection of vegan desserts and have a great vegan queso dip.

Shared kitchen. Owner/staff of place do not make vegan items. Seem uninterested in vegan questions. Tried to order a cake and was handed a confusing sheet with no instructions or pricing. Just left after that.

Pros: Yummy selection of vegan cupcakes

Cons: Staff/ owner uninformed or interested

Amazing cupcakes by Eye Candy

My husband got me seven different types of vegan cupcakes from here for my birthday and they were all absolutely delicious. This store is a co-op and eye candy makes the cupcakes.
