Yep, yep & YEP

So many things to chose from. It’s a grab and go but they will warm things up and there is seating to eat inside. A MUST go!

MUST GO HERE!

They make the vegan candy bars that are shipped all over the US, here! We ordered so much food and ate everything. The desserts, OMG. Highly recommend the Mac & Cheese, McHaze, Sausage breakfast sandwich, Biscoff cake and the cinnamon rolls. You guys, go!

Pros: Every item I ordered, The variety, The employees

Cons: There is only one location

Love it!!!

Highly recommend! We’ve gone multiple times and always left happy. The candy bars are amazing, but we also love the savory offerings. The breakfast sandwiches are delicious , as are the tamales. The owner is also a really nice person. Not only is the food tremendous, but it feels good to support this vegan establishment. Can’t wait to go back!

Pros: Great food, Owner is a joy to speak with

Politically charged

Unfortunately, the first thing you'll notice when walking in isn't the food, it's how many homosexuality and trans-ideology flags are everywhere. There's also the Venmo of a mentally ill man (identifies as trans) right by the front counter. Vegan restaurants should be places that are safe for children rather than a place focused mainly on adult sexual disorders and mental illnesses.

Grab and go and delicious!

Went to pre-made food system a couple months ago but will still heat for dine-in. Everything was delicious! We got a sandwich, burrito, Mac and cheese and potato salad. They make their candy in-house and will ship also. Super nice owner. Tons of desserts, candy and even soft serve ice cream!

Unbeatable value and service

Extremely friendly and welcoming atmosphere, with extremely cheap prices ($5-10 for an entree). Discounted items near expiry make for even better deals ($3-4 per entree). When I came in they were even giving out free homemade protein bars.

Baked goods taste as good as dairy, meat/egg/cheese alternatives are also taste very solid. Only downside is no fresh items, but prices, quality, and customer service still make this a stand-out option.

Pros: Prices/discounts, Quality, Customer service

Cons: No fresh options

Delicious Fries and Mini Cakes, Solid Burger

I really enjoyed the fries and the mini cake (the ‘Better Than Sex’ cake was moist and delicious). The half-California burger was good, though it didn’t quite stand out as much as the other items. Love that they have the half sizes.

Updated from previous review on 2025-12-09

Pros: Half size, Mini Cakes, Friendly Staff

Cons: I had to wait long, Wasn’t blown away by California Burger

My new ‘must visit’ for Salt Lake

Not only was the food really good, but they have a lot of half sandwich options. As someone that wants to try multiple things, this is an awesome way to do so without having to order an obscene amounts of food for one person.
I ordered a half pastrami Rueben and a half Rick Ranch Chick’n sandwich (which was really a smaller full sandwich). I added some fries for an additional $5. The take out container was PACKED for $21.
The seating is very limited, but I had no problem getting a seat to eat my food while it was hot.
They also have coolers full of a ton of different dessert items. As well as burritos, a few sandwiches, and side salads like potato salad to grab to go.
Plus they have veganized versions of candy bars.

Pros: Great prices, Lots of yummy options , Super nice staff

yay for fully vegan options, but avoid if gluten-free

I wanted to stop in as I saw this was a fully vegan place which I love to support and wanted a pastry. After reading some other reviews it seems like this is a new location, and I would agree that the atmosphere is not very inviting and there are only two tables to sit at. I have celiac disease and need to eat gluten-free so I ordered one small cake and another small bar. I’m not sure if it was just a bad day but the desserts were not good at all. I usually eat whatever I purchase because gluten-free vegan pastries are quite expensive, but I simply could not finish these and was bummed with how much I spent when I have had such good gluten-free, vegan pastries elsewhere. Perhaps the bakery is not this place’s strong suit, but I was very disappointed😒

Pros: fully vegan, friendly staff

Cons: gluten-free bakery items did not taste good, pricey, not sure if suitable for celiac despite gf label

Excellent

I ordered a club sandwich, peanut caramel baggie, and death by chocolate mini cake. Their club sandwich is my favorite, and was delicious! I haven’t tried the peanut caramel or mini cake yet. I used their delivery service for the first time today. My order arrived as expected. I texted them with a question. They replied and answered my question.

Pros: Their food is always amazing, Delivery Service , They replied to my text and answered my question

Cons: They don’t currently have a dine-in restaurant

Beware of New Location

Unfortunately after moving, the atmosphere, food, and service have gone drastically downhill. This is more like a cloud kitchen now with two tables available. The food was great at the old location, now it is only passable but there are better options in the city. Sad to see this place change as I loved it before!

Sweet Vegan Heaven 🍰

Sweet Hazel is our go-to every time we visit Utah. We especially love their candy bars—they’re delicious, fully vegan, and just the right kind of indulgent. The staff is friendly, and the shop has such a welcoming vibe. Definitely a must-stop for anyone who loves sweet treats!

Best comfort food ever!

I had a cheeseburger and the curly fries, and my friend had a chickpea sandwich. We were both blown away! as we were leaving, I decided to get a chocolate shake… outstanding! Only two tables that could seat six each, and a few couches, benches and chairs. If you’re ever in Salt Lake, support this wonderful establishment!

Pros: Food, Baked goods, Shakes

Simply excellent

I had one of their more simple options but it was excellent. The restaurant has a lot of seating and desserts, candy bars, etc that can be difficult to find in vegan versions.

Overall just a great place!

For a somewhat simple sandwich, their BLTA was awesome and I really liked their California burrito. Cool spot to relax and wait for your food as well.

Incredible

Have had their candy bars at a local vegan store on Long Island. Ordered the Turkey Club Sandwich, McHaze, a cosmic brownie, and tiramisu for lunch to share. Everything was so delicious and so flavorful. We were headed down to Capitol Reef so we grabbed Mac and cheese, a bean and cheese burrito, and a beef, bean, and cheese burrito for dinner out of the fridge. We ended up eating them pretty room temperature several hours later and they were still great. We also grabbed a breakfast burrito from the grab and go, and ordered a bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich, both of which we heated up for breakfast the next morning and thoroughly enjoyed. We returned to grab candy bars on the last day of our trip when we got back to SLC. We ordered their take on the snickers, Twix, Milky Way, and a few others. Everything was delicious! Staff was extremely kind as well. Highly recommend!
