Sweet Farm is Amazing, Changing the World! - Edit
Sweet Farm is an amazing and one-of-a-kind sanctuary in that it provides a wonderful home for rescued animals but also, unlike other animal sanctuaries, tackles the critical environmental issues facing our planet. Founders Nate Salpeter and Anna Sweet are not only generous and compassionate but they are brilliant in their knowledge of and involvement in regenerative agriculture and the sustainable technology that is disrupting agriculture and food production. Sweet Farm’s location, right on beautiful Seneca Lake in Himrod, New York, is a glorious destination to visit the sanctuary and enjoy a vacation. Sweet Farm has accommodations on site. Nearby Watkins Glen State Park is great for hiking and there are terrific wineries just down the road. Go visit, check out SweetFarm.org and donate if you can.

Cute farm sanctuary! - Edit
Sweet farm does private and public tours-you can sign up for both on their website. I had a great time meeting all the animals and learning their stories. The farm has plans to start gardens on the site as well as hiking trails. There is also a large farmhouse across the road that is available to rent on their website
