Cold nachos? - Edit
I know we vegans don’t have much in the way of cheese to melt but cold nachos? These had all the making of a very yum dish (disclaimer: the coconut taste is pretty pronounced) but they were cold! Would still recommend but be warned

Everything is vegan! - Edit
Lovey chai latte (the default is soy milk). Loved the Benco bowl - warm and nourishing. Loaded banana bread was a good mix of sweet and savoury.

Delicious baked goods! - Edit
The bakery goods were really good! We tried the cinnabuns, brownie and coconut-lime cupcake - they were super yum! However, the coffee wasn't the best and the pumpkin sausage roll and lentil sausage rolls could be better.
Read morePros: Lots of vegan options, Super interesting cupcake flavours, Not sickly sweet, so didn't feel yuck afterwards
Cons: Not the best coffee , Average "sausage" rolls

Dream place for vegan morning tea in Canberra - Edit
Default for many in the vegan community of Canberra for good reason! So successful they've opened a second cafe. Shame they still serve dairy as the default for coffee especially as the alternative milks are way more popular!!

Great Brekky spot - Edit
The photos here don’t really give justice to the nice vibe and good eats here. Extensive fully vegan menu with only dairy milk offered as an option for drinks- they even had vegan melting moments!

Really enjoyed the variety of the big breakfast and yummy vegan chai. It was a vegan cafe so not sure why it comes up vegetarian in search. Lots of cakes etc in the cabinet too

Sometimes I come in just for the sausage rolls! They have some really good specials. When they have the bbq Mac and cheese wrap we have to buy two so hubs can take it to work the next day for lunch. Highly recommend this place!

The belco bowl has my heart - Edit
I love everything about sweet bones. It was my first introduction to how good vegan food could be back when I was only vegetarian, and really helped with the transition to veganism!

The perfect vegan cafe! - Edit
This cafe has everything from breakfast to lunch and brunch in between, from sweet to savoury to big eats and small eats! I got the THE NOTORIOUS B.I.G. ($22.50) basically a vegan version of an English breakfast (from an English person POV!). It was delicious and nice to have a scrambled tofu as I haven’t seen that, some more protein would have been nice like fake bacon/sausage or some beans! It was delicious and full of flavour! They also have lots of sweet treats which I wish I’d tried, the coffee was also very good!
Read morePros: 100% vegan , Delicious , Lots of options
Cons: Expensive , Could be bigger serving sizes for the price!

Great coffee, great food. Something has changed about the big breakfast, it doesn't seem to be quite as good as it used to be, but still delicious. Love the Spicy Jack for lunch too. Cupcakes always perfect and a choc banana muffin toast - nom nom!!

It has the vegan food we need - Edit
The food is solid, and what we need. Doesn't bake bread, dispite the name. The staff are bizarrely unfriendly, tired or unhappy. Maybe young people learning. Definitely go for the food.

Lovely food 🙂 - Edit
This is a great little (mostly) vegan cafe spot that I frequent whenever I travel to Canberra. The inside seating area is pretty small and crowded so weather permitting I generally sit outside. The inside decor is cute and fitting though. They have a really awesome range of meals which is very exciting, but I feel that if you're visiting with children, etc it can be quite a pricey and unrealistic experience on this basis. I couldn't see any on their menu, but some children's options would be amazing! Because it's simply not realistic for an average family to pay $15-$20 per child for a breakfast. We absolutely loved our meals and would absolutely return on that basis but if I lived locally I probably wouldn't frequent much with my family given the cost. Service was decent but definitely not as friendly as other places. The outside seating area definitely looks like a bit of an afterthought and could be made much more welcoming.
Read morePros: Great selection of meals , Very yummy!, Never disappointed with my food
Cons: On the expensive side, No children's options/smaller servings, Lacks a level of warmth and friendliness
