Serves meat, vegan options available. Thai spot right off the interstate. Many dishes can be made vegan, just ask for tofu and no eggs. Could get spicy drunken noodle with tofu and no eggs and a side of jasmine rice. Open Mon-Sat 11:00am-3:00pm, 4:30pm-9:00pm. Closed Sun.

Disappointing

My husband and I went here yesterday for a quick supper on the road. Asian food is generally easy to veganize so imagine my disappointment that none of their curries can be made vegan. Not because of added fish sauce but because all of their curries are pre-made with half and half. Their menu only mentions coconut milk in the curries. I can’t understand why, when they have ingredients on the menu, they wouldn’t mention such a common and potentially deadly allergen.

We chose two stir fries - the broccoli stir fry and the garlic stir fry. Unfortunately, only the broccoli stir fry came with food and had a proper sauce. The garlic “stir fry” was really cabbage soup. If I hadn’t forked out $3 extra for tofu, it would have been just cabbage (with two tiny pieces of broccoli) in an immense amount of broth. When I got back to my camper and opened the containers, I felt ripped off.

The only saving grace was the price. $26 including tax for two entrees. Did not tip for takeout. If we had eaten in, I would have been pretty bitter about having to spend even more on a tip everything considered.
